I used to have a Sony Xplod as my second set for subwoofers. I will say they can handle some power but they have got so much distortion noise when it comes to car audio.

sony forever... ive overpowerd them at 4 oms and im running them at 2 ohms now... they still go strong and theres no voice coil dammage AT ALL

@gordoaka22 Dude you dont know what you talking about. i have sony xplods and my system will crush your system. my system will hit a higher DB then yours. You must have under powerd that sony because the sony can take more power then a ma 10 or a kicker comp

I got a 1400w amp powering this one 1500w sub, it sounds really good. The sub is wired up to be 8oms

My friends got one of the red 10 inch 800 max, 200 watt input woofer, i had to repair the terminals on the woofer, but its fed 600 watts, and it hasn't blown in 2 years.
