@kklok15 ATWT (the show NUKE is on) has been cancelled due to low ratings and will air until mid September. Currently they are split up and Luke is involved with Reid Oliver, Noah's doctor.

I don't know, but it's just not possible for two hotties to touch each other that little. And with all the accidents, murders, psychos, etc. it's wa losing all credibility :D
This Kish scene was really great, love and passion. Both actors did really a great job !!!. First time I ever heard safer sex in day time show!!! (deserve an applause).

it's when they tape a microphone on you, inside your clothes. It's hooked up to a sort of battery pack transmitor. Like they have on reality shows like The Hills to that they don't have to use a boom microphone to catch sounds. If you listen to the scene with headphones you can hear heartbeats sometimes. It think they used it here cuz they were shooting from above so a boom would of been hard to hide.
I LOVE this scene with Kyle and Oliver, but I think the getting on the bed part was a little too rehearsed. Other than that, this was one of my favorites!
Almost perfect wish the kissing on the bed was a couple of secs longer. Great acting from scott who had ti portray nervousness and sensuality at the same time and great acting from brett as well who had to play confident but vulnerable at the same time. Hope they get nominated next year

I am a little confused...the backstory seems off, ok back in AUG Kyle said to Oliver how he would get drunk and get into Kyle's bed. I guess I just assumed they had sex in college, now here Oliver seems to have never had sex to Kyle...I know Kyle would have never taken avantage of Oliver, but I guess I just summed they slept together before back in college!

sadly, their sex scene is limited and they have to be careful based on n those limitations. but this is progressive and i loved every bit of this episode. I was stunned to how far they went. stunned at how much they gave us visually. plus, it appears they created a song just for them, cuz the song can't be found elsewhere.
i wonder if that's why oliver was so nervous about the sex and not wanting to disappoint kyle. because he was usually the top in their college lovemaking. maybe there's more pressure being a top in gay and straight relationships.

Top and bottom is just dominance vs. submissive, which is quite outdated considering neither is gendered to either sex... people can change that role all the time, women can be on top in a straight relationship, for example. Actually, i think they are kind of doing what Nuke did in the beginning. They always teased you with them taking off their clothes and in bed, then they would get interrupted. Then, when they finally do it (2 years later), they show nothing. No foreplay, no stripping of shirts, NOTHING! We just saw them after the act, they will probably do the same with Kish.

I bet that van and jake are irritated by the writing. Their story was great -- like 2 years ago. I've been wishing the writers would pick it up again, but then... this latest storyline. Almost un-frigging-watchable. I feel like I can sense jake and van's eye's rolling at the lines they're given. Shame.
Agreed. People have told me that I have given up on Nuke for Kish, but honestly, the writers gave up on them LONG before I did. And I still love Nuke but the writing and SL'S are horrible! OTLT is already doing a much better job at portraying a gay couple and Nick's bashing then ATWT ever portrayed ANYTHING

aww at fish calling Kyle beautiful *heart melts* and oltl writers are a million times better than atwt. they actaully portray kish as boyfriends, whereas nuke seem more like good friends with occassional benifits that we don't see on air. love them both but def prefer kish now! Hi. Yeah, I agree with you about the comparison thing. Really, I think fans of same sex romance should want there to be good representations and storylines.
That said, I've visited several other places, including the LJ Kyle/Fish community, and there's a lot of Kish fans who also enjoy Nuke and coexist with both shows just fine.
So some places, there might be more disagreements, but it's definitely not universal to the whole fanbase.
I've never realize how short Kyle is---he is tiny, but cute! Im really loving this storyline. I love how nervous Fish is, and that got me thinking about what Kyle said about it being their first time making love. So all those times back in college when they were together, Fish must had been drunk which now explains alot about why he's so nervous, because this would be his first time being with a man, and being fully present in the act. Nice angle OLTL!
I understand your frustrations. I watch Nuke too. But you can't direct those frustrations on OLTL and it's actors. Focus it on TPTB, they are the ones screwing ATWT up because of whatever reason. Like you said, I'm sure that Van and Jake don't like it either, but I doubt they'd be negative about KISH and the actor's that portray them :)
I think the best way it's watching story with your own eyes it's much better than any summary,believe me you will not regret,Anthony has all previous episodes with Oliver/Kyle/Nick story on his channel.
Just go watch the clips. It won't take that long. This channel has a playlist. It's much better to see it with your own eyes rather than have one of us interpret it for you.

Nick and Kyle talked that morning (while the speech was being set up). Then Oliver showed up and spoke with Kyle. Then Kyle left for work. Nick and Oliver attended the speech. Oliver arrests Dorian, takes her to the station, goes home to change and meets Kyle at UltraViolet after Kyle got out of work early.
All of this stuff happened on the same day. So when KISH goes to the Kyles room, it's that same night.

Somebody mentioned it on the Kishmet board, so all credit goes to him or her. but it's called My Confession and we don't know who the singer is because it's OLTL song that they had made up for that particular Kish scene, but he or she said it should be available on itunes soon, so just keep checking, hope that helped : )

I am a little confused...the backstory seems off, ok back in AUG Kyle said to Oliver how he would get drunk and get into Kyle's bed. I guess I just assumed they had sex in college, now here Oliver seems to have never had sex to Kyle...I know Kyle would have never taken avantage of Oliver, but I guess I just summed they slept together before back in college!

Yet, on november 10th or whatever, Kyle says that "Oliver was no prude". I'm thinking Oliver is talking about making love, about having sex that is so open and without alcohol or secrecy

All this "did they or didn't they have sex in college" stuff has been confusing me too.
But, back on their first "first date" (that ended watching that movie with Christian and Layla)...Oliver said: I haven't been with a man since college...since you. And then Kyle responded with: I think it'll come back to you.
That makes me think they did have sex back then.
So, is it that they didn't do this "dating" thing...including having sex while sober...? That's so much more intimate...and scary.

It's been alluded to that they have slept together before, quite a few times - Kyle shouted that they were "lovers" in college when they were in the alley...Fish admitted to Layla that he'd slept with Kyle in college...and Kyle speculated that he remembers that Fish was "no prude" in the scene you mentioned.

sadly, their sex scene is limited and they have to be careful based on n those limitations. but this is progressive and i loved every bit of this episode. I was stunned to how far they went. stunned at how much they gave us visually. plus, it appears they created a song just for them, cuz the song can't be found elsewhere.

Top and bottom is just dominance vs. submissive, which is quite outdated considering neither is gendered to either sex... people can change that role all the time, women can be on top in a straight relationship, for example. Kyle, though, I would picture as the 'bottom', but I bet you it wouldn't happen all the time.

How incredibly beautiful (and hot) was the Kish bed scene! Honestly, I didn't think they would go that far, it was very daring by U.S. standards, period. Kudos to ABC for having the balls to push the traditional limits. And I'm sure next time they won't be interrupted, it's gonna be amazing.

While I do love this OLTL storyline I believe that instead of writing to ABC to tell them how wonderful they are we should be writing to them to tell them how disgusting they are for their blatant, homophobic witch hunt of Adam Lambert, a real homosexual person... Actually, i think they are kind of doing what Nuke did in the beginning. They always teased you with them taking off their clothes and in bed, then they would get interrupted. Then, when they finally do it (2 years later), they show nothing. No foreplay, no stripping of shirts, NOTHING! We just saw them after the act, they will probably do the same with Kish.

I bet that van and jake are irritated by the writing. Their story was great -- like 2 years ago. I've been wishing the writers would pick it up again, but then... this latest storyline. Almost un-frigging-watchable. I feel like I can sense jake and van's eye's rolling at the lines they're given. Shame.

Agreed. People have told me that I have given up on Nuke for Kish, but honestly, the writers gave up on them LONG before I did. And I still love Nuke but the writing and SL'S are horrible! OTLT is already doing a much better job at portraying a gay couple and Nick's bashing then ATWT ever portrayed ANYTHING

i feel the same way. kish is so different and faster paced that i wonder if i gave up on nuke. but it's the show that gave up on them first, not me. i'm not nervous/sad upon hearing about the cancellation. sad for the actors, but relieved that they'll get better roles and s/l's. there's always room in my heart for great male on male relationships. here's hope that kish continue to be amazing in how they're protrayed.

aww at fish calling Kyle beautiful *heart melts* and oltl writers are a million times better than atwt. they actaully portray kish as boyfriends, whereas nuke seem more like good friends with occassional benifits that we don't see on air. love them both but def prefer kish now! I haven't seen a storyline this good since chrolli. writers know how to deliver the romance

Hi. Yeah, I agree with you about the comparison thing. Really, I think fans of same sex romance should want there to be good representations and storylines.
That said, I've visited several other places, including the LJ Kyle/Fish community, and there's a lot of Kish fans who also enjoy Nuke and coexist with both shows just fine.
So some places, there might be more disagreements, but it's definitely not universal to the whole fanbase.
Plus, I'd like to watch Nuke at some point ;-D

I've never realize how short Kyle is---he is tiny, but cute! Im really loving this storyline. I love how nervous Fish is, and that got me thinking about what Kyle said about it being their first time making love. So all those times back in college when they were together, Fish must had been drunk which now explains alot about why he's so nervous, because this would be his first time being with a man, and being fully present in the act. Nice angle OLTL!

I understand your frustrations. I watch Nuke too. But you can't direct those frustrations on OLTL and it's actors. Focus it on TPTB, they are the ones screwing ATWT up because of whatever reason. Like you said, I'm sure that Van and Jake don't like it either, but I doubt they'd be negative about KISH and the actor's that portray them :)

I'm really a Nukie, but I think this storyline seems good, and the couple sweet.
But what I don't get is that why does it have to be Nuke vs. Kish? Instead I think that we should just be happy with the fact that there are so many gay storylines. Maybe it's me being completely naive or something. I love ATWT and Nuke, but I am not going to compare atwt to OLTL or something like that just because of that.

Oltl are not trying to catch up to anything, they are telling their own storyline at their own pace. If others veiwers and I wanted to read about how bad the Atwt writers are and how Nuke are the best couple then we would watch their videos instead.

All of this is happening on the same day.
Nick and Kyle talked that morning (while the speech was being set up). Then Oliver showed up and spoke with Kyle. Then Kyle left for work. Nick and Oliver attended the speech. Oliver arrests Dorian, takes her to the station, goes home to change and meets Kyle at UltraViolet after Kyle got out of work early.
All of this stuff happened on the same day. So when KISH goes to the Kyles room, it's that same night.
OTLT days take a long time to pass by. ;)
