Andre Dirrell gave Carl Froch a helluva boxing lesson. He made Froch frustrated the whole fight night and made Froch make miss fire all his signature punches. He made Froch look like amatuer swinging, lunging, plunging, his punches in frustration. I got Dirrell ahead of a point or two on my scorecards based on the knowledge of boxing as a sport. I agree with the Mexican judge. The 2 European judges I think are either biased or doesn't have enought experience or knowledge in boxing as a sport.

Truth is, check their records and you see all of those he mentioned (Darnell Boone, Kenny Kost and Andy Kolle) d i d lose after they fought him. the european boxers are all ready established.champs.not up and commers.froch all ready defeated one of the americans (taylor) the americans do not have the punching power that is going to be neede in this tournament . kessler has pwer and skill abraham has pwer and great defence froch has pressure and power the andres have never faught any opponents with any of there skills. andres have talents of there own but need time to develop.

i think they picked the right 6. i know dirrel is the least favorite to win, i agree w/ that and his first fight is a tough one in froch. BUT before froch emerged as a force and b4 taylor and abraham moved up i thought dirrell was the future of 168, moreso than ward and while i think kessler is good, i thought he was done after the calz fight, he went off the radar. I like all 6 and may the best man win, but i'll stick to my guns and roll w/ the heavy underdog direl is LIVE vs any of them.

yo mr SUPRA T64 : dude are u serious kessler fought a goodfight against Perdomo, but lets be honest Perdomo was going to give him more of a fight than what he was supposed too. Kessler put very little pressure on dude and the fight waas stopped. Andre THOROUGHLY wooped pudwill. In fact he was woopin him so bad he told the ref to stop it so he didn hurt the man. I train @ the same gym and even with Andre somtime...Kessler got a bigger fight comin to him than u think

Oakbayboy, your guy andre the liar ward keeps telling shit about the level of his competition. He tells the journalists at the press conference that the guys he fought didn't lose after he fought them and are top contenders. Truth is, check their records and you see all of those he mentioned (Darnell Boone, Kenny Kost and Andy Kolle) d i d lose after they fought him. They all got knocked out by other opponents afterwards, whereas Andre the liar Ward couldn't stop any of them.

1 kessler 2 abe 3 froch 4 ward 5 JT 6 Direl. the americans are least likely to win, but everyone has a chance here. Taylor owned froch in his fight b4 gassing out, ward is the best boxer here and direl is the most gifted and dinamic fighter of the bunch. I'm american and im pulling for them, but i do like all 6 and may the best man win. I do expect one of the euro's to win, but all 6 have a very good chance imo.

Well guys, Mikkel Kessler has just got his mandatory fight vs Gusmyl Perdomo out of the way: TKO win in round 4, Perdomo was already knocked down in round 3.
Now the tourney can start and Kessler takes his SMW belt into it.
If you really think Andre Ward will take it away from Kessler, you should stop smoking the cheap shit. Kessler will teach Ward a nice boxing lesson and knock him out in <10 rounds.

I don't care at all where boxer's are from, I'm just interested in good boxing and I hate fixed fights, bad judges and mismatches.
That said, you're telling me, rccwilliams, If you really think Andre Ward is a very good boxer and Ward himself believes he can win the whole tourney, why does he face Shelby Pudwill before it starts? Pudwill's boxrec's current no. 214 in the SMW division and had a 1st round knockout loss to John Duddy in 2006 and only 1 more fight (in 2008) after that.
