I used to sing this to my son, as a baby and he would want me to sing it to him everytime he went to sleep. Yes; he is a "beautiful ... beautiful boy" and he does modelling too for fashion magazines. (Who knew?)

a father is a father to the end. jullian was no mistake. john grew up and never was a father to jullian. the whole world knew it. . you would not want to be done this way . the only reason why john is well known is singing. if he couldnt write or sing ,then he would be a unknown

This song really validated how much of a genius Lennon was. He was the real deal. no different from Mozart or Beethoven. While most in his league sputtered out like McCartney and Paul Simon, he proved he could still write just as good if not better as he did in his hey day. I mean fuck me, this has got to be in the top 3 of his greatest songs and the dude was just getting started then that douche had to off him

If I recall, Paul Simon released his most successful and acclaimed album, GRACELAND, when he was older than John Lennon was when he died.
Paul McCartney released TUG OF WAR, FLAMING PIE and FLOWERS IN THE DIRT, three of his most acclaimed albums, when he was older as well.

He was so proud of his son, too bad it wasn't Julian but Sean. Sean was his past girlfriend's kid and he found Yoko and noticed only Sean and neglected Julian.

@rh79chase It's really sad too because Julian looks just like his dad. I feel that Yoko 1) ruined the Beatles & John, plus 2) she ruined his relationship with his family/children/band and 3) she ruined his life as well as the lives of his children after he died but mostly she ruined Julian's life after his dad died b/c she tried to take everything of John from his son Julian. Yoko is a bitch, she always was and always will be.there's a special place in hell for Yoko & those like her.
