@MadeEnMexico Red rider may deal in ammo, I'm not sure, BUT I know that they don't make russian Hollow Point rounds, since they aren't a russian company. and holding the firearm by the mag is a bad Idea, it can cause feeding issues, and will wear out the mag well faster. having the mag FALL OUT OF THE FIREARM is not so good, and that can happen if it isn't properly taken care of and handled.

At 1000 Yards that is a 30 inch group provided you can see the target. Without powerful optics and marksmen like skills a 1000 yard shot with something like this is a waste of ammo. Even with the best ammo you would be lucky to hit human sized target at that distance. COD is not real life.

You can hold the magazine on a well-made AK and well-made magazines. The paddle release and metal rear and front locking lugs make for a tight lock-up. Ever seen those steel 75 round drums? My friend, you are not shooting an AK47 anymore! You shoot anything other than the 7.62x39, you are shooting something looks like and AK, but not the AK that is intended to fire the original round for which was made.

Speaking of the 308. this round out performs the 7.62x39 in so many ways even though they might share the same bullet diameter. the 308. has better ballistics performance. So that's why you have a better "AK" because the rounds you shoot are much much better and accurate.

Ak47s were never meant to fire the higher pressure larger cartridge of the .308 because of the construction of the gun. Russian gun factories won't be able to supply the entire army with milled receiver aks, so that cheap 0.5mm stamped receiver is the solution. Check out the .308 saigas, they are true solid ak based gun. very reliable!
