@Lusitano429 Os consumos vão depender muito de ti :) Consegue-se fazer consumos abaixo dos 6,5l mas é complicado de resistir a rodar um pouco mais o punho :D. No meu uso do dia a dia, consigo fazer esse consumo, mas nuns passeios mais despachados o consumo normalmente passa para os 7l

ola como vais? Desculpa maçar-te, andava eu a pesquisar sobre a Street Triple e vim parar aqui. Fiquei agradado por ver as nossas paisagens (é unica e muito familiar lol). Queria fazer uma pergunta simples, sei que é relativo mas gostava de saber na mesma, qual é o consumo médio da tua Triumph? Leio na ordem dos 6,5l aos 100 :S pois que eu espera bem menos....se puderes responder agradeço. Saudações compatriotas!

Don't baby it just because its a new bike. Load that engine down heavy in the first four gears so you get a good valve seal in your engine. Read this to understand why. mototuneusa com/break_in_secrets.htm

@ctmalcolm it's already with more than 2000km and using all the revs. it's running very well :) I didn't made the break in 100% by the book.... Just didn't pushed it full throttle from low revs and didn't entered on redline until i reached the 1600KM

Wow it sounds pretty good in all the videos I've seen the arrow don't sound much different, unless you get the zards or the two brothers on it, I'll get my triple next Congrats for your bike

@alexlycaon yes it's still the stock exhaust :) I believe it's a little bit louder than the previous stock model

@SirJazz some of the 2011 models have ABS as an optional. Speed Triple, Tiger are 2 of them. But Street Triple doesn't have yet that optional available

just ordered one! coming on the 16th and i really cant wait! sucks you cant hit more than 5000rpm for first 500k tho. tho i guess the engine needs it.

the shift light comes set at 5000 from factory

@Schaaf Yes! It will be automatically raise 1000RPM during the next km's

Only at 1600km it will raise the limit to the top RPM

@Schaaf i wasn't 100% correct :) It's customizable, from factory it comes configured at 5000RPM but you can change it to whatever you want using the 2 buttons available on the dash :)
