  • los 80s no fueron buenos para paul

  • Mc ? Cartney????'

  • @MarkcartneyR es como decir John Len non

  • I Bet John Was Smiling Down On Paul During This Performance!

  • This is Bob Greene's favorite song of all time. He mentions it in several of his books.

  • I love this song so much and seeing that Linda is in the background makes it that more special. Paul and Linda made the perfect couple. Thank you for sharing this with us.

  • Paul and Linda go together like peas and carrots :)

  • @Denthedragon I'm not sure what Linda actually did in the band besides some background vocals. Did she play keyboards in this set? I only hear the other guy.

  • @thatisso80s I hate to fault Linda for anything, but she was likely just there to be with Paul - and to be a part of it all. Maybe it was a tax deduction? ;>

I'm sure everyone has heard that sound clip of her singing harmony on Hey Jude. It is AWFUL. Was it really her? A vengeful sound guy, isolating her mic? No monitor?

When we get to hear these live clips, without the excitement of being there, it's amazing how bad/careless the singing can be!

  • One of the greatest songs of all time. Period

  • It is good that Paul stopped running away from his past.

He finally accepted that he wrote, or co-wrote some of the greatest songs of all time.

It is ok that you did it when you were 24 years old man.

  • @Philtration Not sure what you mean. He's been playing many of his Beatles songs live since the early-mid 70's. Look at the Wings over America album from '76. It has several Beatle songs.

  • @rodneyracoon 28 songs on that album and he played 4 that he wrote with the Beatles.

He did pass over his Beatles work in concert for a long time. In 1975 he played a 13 city tour of the U.K. and played only 3 Beatle songs.

He spent the 70s avoiding his best songs.

  • 2:12, haha paul blowing his hair. (: "we used to do whole sets out of tune. just part of the set is out of tune. so we're improving." oh, i love paulll. <3

  • kool i guess, but this song didnt age well.not every tune ages that well.the studio helped this tune alot imo.the background keyboard in this sounds like an amateur, and not well thought out,im funny that wayi like his newer Eleanor Rigby, and Penny Lane, for example.i loved the original things we said today 35 YEARS AGO.Cripes!!

  • The best version i've heard.

  • I love all versions!!

    Paul the greatest!!!

  • woah, beautiful song, I cry when I hear this song!! I don't know why, but I glad God to you born and give to us this wonderful song.

  • in what year was that???

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

  • I had this taped in the early 90s off MuchMusic and watched it like crazy. I don't recall seeing this song though. I'm glad finally did after all these years, since it's a great rendition of a great song. Thanks for posting it.

  • amazing is right!!! mccartney at his best!!!

  • LL Cool J did it before Paul

  • @DJWU36 Paul wrote this song while LL was still a baby if he was even born by then.

  • @DJWU36

who the hell is he?? paul wrote it

  • @DJWU36 are you crazy? Paul wrote and sang this song before LL was even born.

  • Legend

  • Is it just me or have the recent upluggeds had almost all the intsrutments in fact plugged?

  • paul is death??? que estupides yo lo veo cantar hasta ahora

kien podria ocupar el lugar de este genio

  • @frederick2874 Estoy contigo, la gente es idiota!! Viva Sir Paul!

  • Great song with brilliant arrangement. One of the best!

  • i like this version better...a little faster.

  • paul McCartney soo handsome forever

  • @paulMcCartney18 tottaly agree!!! forever!!

  • Ever the innovator. This was the very first Unplugged.

  • It wasnt the first unplugged. It was the first unplugged to be officially released, and it was also the first time that all of the instruments were authentically acoustic. However it wasnt the first unplugged

  • @guitarwilwalton Then who did the first unplugged?

  • Shame this didn't make the unplugged album, would have been a nice addition.

  • Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • El Maestro Paul Mc Cartney Grande siempre sera.

  • I love this version !
