  • They don't make them like this anymore.

  • This sounds like a classic British in-your-face big beat arrangement, not a Spector wall-of-sound knock off. For another example, check out Dusty Springfield's cover of "Will You Love Me Tomorrow." Great version(s) in any case.

  • Finally got the 7" of this today! Been trying to find a decent copy of it for a very long time. And, it wasn't an astronomical cost at all!

  • Never gets old

  • How sad that this kind of music and those wonderfu days are gone forever...

  • I LOVE Jackie "Dirty Bitch" Trent. I used to have two of her compilation CD sets...

  • Like a ride on the space shuttle.

  • Occationaly the Brits managed to catch that Spector Sound - this is one of them ocasions.

  • Awesome! Love it :)

  • Whoosh! this thing knocks you over from the very first bar.

  • It's like riding on a galloping horse at full speed.

  • FINALLY! I've been searching for this song for a very long time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this upload. A special favorite of mine. Jackie's version is the BEST! 10+ stars!

  • You're welcome!

  • @jsbach15 Hmnnn "Jackie's version is the BEST! 10+ stars!" .... I wonder? Are you familiar with the origin of the song? Have you listened to the original version by Edith Piaf who wrote it? Have a listen and then tell me if you still find Jackie Trent's version "the best" To my mind Trent's lacks the "soul" of Piaf's performance or indeed of Elaine Paige's interpretation. Paige's can be found under the English tittle as it is here for Trent's and Piaf's under "Hymne a l'amour"

  • @twsgolden I have Edith Piaf's cd for many years now, and I have heard Elaine Paige's version as well. What's your problem? I think this "pop" version by Jackie Trent, is a very powerful arrangement. If you have such hostility towards pop music, or my comment, why bother to watch Jackie then?

  • I LOVE this version!

  • Very nice version. Thanks for sharing.

  • WOW. This had the undertone of Phil Specter! I love this! 5 stars/favs! Great post! Thanks!
