OK I have found my fave of the remixes, this is a wicked dark, gothic rock cover of my fave Depeche Mode song, like Laibach sounding vocals mixed with original DM electronic sound, one would never think it could work & yet it does, masterfully! Not better than the original, but damned close, the closest & best version IMHO.

@ec101dm You too huh? It's the deep dark vocals that remind me of Laibach, another band I really love a lot for that sound, the darker the better. This took my fave Depeche Mode song out of the 80's electronica and updated it with the darkness & rock/industrial sound I like most, with the deep male vocals, while it's not better than the original, it's my fave cover version of them all.

Do me a favor, and don't make every cover song into some fucking competition about who is better. Truth is that VADER has so much original material that no other band could even tackle. Still, they are ballsy enough to cover a pop song.

@alinamar72 Man, I don't know the VADER but you might be right. However, this is not a POP song, no means. This is a pure heavy metal sound bottom-up.

Plus, the VADER covered the (probably) most creative band of the last 20+ years. The DM are no joke...

5 gwiazdek dla Vadera! I to nie za udana adaptacje ale za odwage w doborze utworu. Muzyka dzieli sie na taka ktora ci sie podoba i ktora ci sie nie podoba. Vader lubi DM i maja gdzies czy to pasuje do ich gatunku czy nie. Od teraz juz pasuje. I nie ma sensu klocic sie czy DM jest lepsze od V. Czy pierogi sa lepsze od bigosu? A wlasnie, mialem cos zjesc przeciez :)
