  • @ToyGremlins O.k. Many thanks. I think it means something if a paleontologist likes my creation. At least I tried hard to let it look like a Dino. ;-)

( Although it doesn't have any teeth. :-) Nxt2saurus is meant to be a cuddly descendant of your Velociraptor. ;-) )

  • Great!!!! One of the best ever seen!!!!

    Happy New Year Menno!

    NeXTSTORM

  • @NeXTSTORMING Especially from you this a very valued compliment! Thanks!

( :-) It prevents me from killing the people who've seen the secrets of the NeXTosaurus at Legoworld 2010 (-: )

So you all may forget those secrets; Nxt2saurus is absolute different... ;-)

( I've managed to add a lot of insights learned from my PF-Raptor.

And that PF-Raptor was a spin-off of my NeXTosaures, which was actually a much better version of my RCX-Nordic.... Bla,Bla,Bla,... :-) )

  • Good job! Actually Great job! I wonder what visitors would say about a wandering robot?

  • @Zblj1987 Thanks! My family seems to be used to the idea of my wanderers, tough I always warn them when I'm starting a test.

Sometimes I take a walker to my shop to test it there.

Especially kids love to see them. At least most kids; once a kid ran out of the shop. :-)

Another time an old lady persisted to buy one! ; in her elderly home she wasn't allowed to keep pets.

However most of the time my models are being kept in storage boxes; my wife hardly admits only a few of them in the living room.

  • Nice! Looks like he's searching for minifigures to eat for lunch...

  • @arcanemettles :-)

That might be the right answer!

I was wondering all the time why it was wandering around. :-)

  • NICE WALKER!HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  • @nxtboti Thanks! ;-)

  • Plus. It really works good on that thick carpet. Few robots can traverse that. Especially NXT bots

  • @4life4win It seems you do understand the problem with this type of underground.

    When I'm building it's a nightmare to me when Lego pieces are falling on the floor;

you hardly find them in that hairy soft carpet.... ;-)

  • So if make more adjustments and hope for another NEW kit from LEGO, then this dinosaur would be the best all terrain machine.

  • @4life4win What adjustments do you suggest?

The "problem" is that I'm not working for Lego or having any official contact at this moment.

On the other hand I want to keep Lego as a hobby and not as a walk of life. ;-)

Maybe in time I'm willing to publish some books, but absolute not under pressure of a commercial contract!

  • Excellent work! It seems to be moving a lot smoother and a bit faster then the old version did. Hope to see it some time soon.

  • @DrywFiltiarn Seems a right evolution, isn't it?

Next2saurus is about ten times faster!

But for me it's more important that it is able to walk on our new carpet.
