@trashcompactable it is the jim wendler 5/3/1 cycle. look it up on google. He does the basic lifts and then as far as assistance exercises go, I think he just picked some of his own
@flexforall2 I have a question, since your doing a strength program...Wouldn't that equal not so much hypertrophy? Like rep range 6-12? Wouldn't that be recommended for beginners?
something awesome happened today O.G....i found out how to squat correctly...i looked at the comment of you recommending rippletoe starting strength..so i started looking up vids of that guy...he explains the squat so well...HIP DRIVE BRO..i have not been using that..and it make sense..ive been asking myself why the hell is my hamstrings not getting worked when i squat..thats why..its almost like a good morning at the top...just gotta take that shit to the gym and practice...
would rack pulls be a good substitute for deadlifts? I injured my back doing deadlifts 3 years ago and recently decided to start doing them again, my form is a lot better, but after I'm done doing them, I cant get out of bed the next day because my lower back is in pain(the bad kind). I'm able to do RDL's and my back feels fine but RDL's target more hamstrings than back.
Do you have a problem with calluses on your hands ? I do, and they hurt like mad sometimes. I don't want to use straps because you said that'll give you weak forearms, etc. Not sure what to do? Got any advice?

@dabul2003 if you want his body its out there for you to get..when you say "i dont make my workouts consistent"..i hear "i dont want muscles im too fucking lazy"..so dont say you wish you had his body because you dont have to wish...i am self taught..i got on youtube and figured shit out..if you really want it you can have it...stop making excuses and do it..all the info is out there..if you are not willing to do what it takes then you dont want it really..when you really want it...you go get it

You inspire and motivate so many people by your videos and information. Btw, I loved your side note that you gave after your Deadlifts. I always see you motivate your partner to bust out 1 or 2 more reps even if they say, "It's not happening." Never settle. Settle when you die. Practice what you preach. Thank you!
