  • And remember if you are an idiot using a satnav, if the satnav tells you to "turn left after the crossing" that means after you have left the crossing- don't turn left on to the railway track and under a train as so many people like to do- you must exit the crossing. I hope this is clear to you satnat turkeys.

  • pity they could not do a undated version for today as i might stop crossing misuse which we have today. what ever did happen to that second train warning system.

  • Maurice was also in 'Much Binding in the Marsh' in the late 40s/early 50s on the radio with Kenneth Horne and Richard Murdoch - still being repeated sometimes on BBC Radio4 Extra.

  • His name is Maurice Denham, a great British character actor of the 50s-60s-70s, also many TV series from the good old days of great British TV.

  • Sam played the judge in an episode of Porridge who had got on wrong side of the law himself.

  • @agaichapter25 Yes you are dead right mate, he played Judge Stephen Rawley in Rough Justice.
