When i went to florida for a week and a half my parents did not want me to take a computer because i am on it constantly (like you it sounds like) but i managed to have with me: Netbook, iPhone 3G, iPod Shuffle, iPod/iPhone charger, skull candy headphones.

Now if i ever go back for that long, i will be taking an incase power slider or a battery backup like you have...big mistake, i really needed to have one, and i still need to find one to buy.

Just my i Phone 3GS. That's it as i go travel to have a good time and venture out. If its business related then I understand and you should use a dedicated laptop. If it's for vacation travel then what type of trip is it really? I have plenty of time to play and read stuff when I get back in town and if you can't find things to do while on vacation then your doing it all wrong.

The i Phone keeps me in tune with quick emails, browsing, movies, and games for short down time periods of R&R.
