  • While I haven't bought his 1st 3 Albums I've listened to them Digitally they pretty much retained characterists from P-Model those 3 cds were good but I believe that he knocked the Ball out of the Park with his 4th Album Aurora.

  • Listening to any of Hirasawa's music takes me to another plane of existance. I feel inspired to write a fantasy novel now.

  • This is so beautiful...

  • hmmm.theres 1 person with no soul :P

  • @ChibiLokiRagnarok i understand his music is not the most pop(ular) type of music out there but c'mon who couldn't appreciate the originality and beauty of his music is just totally ignorant to music as an artform of self-expression. yet there's so many songs of his which are pure classics in their own right, very impressive from just 1 man. respect to mr. susumu hirasawa's talent.

  • @DonMega187 i hear you man. he is one of my main source of inspirations, togetehr with Kate bush and Bjork. Pioneers all of them <3

  • When I first heard this song all I could think about this being used as a track when Guts finally raids into Falconia and defeats Femto/Griffith

  • This song is so unearthly. It can be the most stressful day ever, and when I play it, the world just seems to stop spinning. Thank you so much for uploading this. It's so hard to find his work here in the States.

  • I would waltz to this song.

  • After awhile, listening to too many Susumu songs start to fool you into thinking you are listening to just one very very long song.... that's days long.

But that's not such a bad thing.

  • Best song to say 'Good Bye' to.

  • People are deaf and the quantity of the plays on this audio/video proves it.

  • Wow.

  • Amazing track. Thanks! Do you have the album or single details?

  • If they ever do another Panzer Dragoon, he's really got to do the music.

  • Nothing like anything off of the Berserk ost. This is however an amazing song, I can't think of too much that has more feeling.

  • @HeyYoKillEmo I dunno..."Earth" is just like this sound.

  • This sounds similar to Gattsu

  • Composing a playlist of every single Susumu Hirasawa track I can find. Visit my profile for it. I am, however, working on it.

In the meantime, appreciate the fact that Susumu even allows his music to shared. He could have very well pulled a copyright stunt on all of us.

But he's smart. He knows sharing will help more people hear of him and reach out to his music. That's the way the music industry should be.

  • The music industry is too greedy for its own good. I like artists like Susumu Hirasawa just for the sole fact that he not only does nothing to prevent these works from being uploaded, but he actually ENCOURAGES users to put up his works.

  • Indeed it is. And it's rather sad.

If the industry needs an example of an artist who willingly allowed his music to be shared and uploaded and became successful, Susumu is on that list among many others.

    Of course, they won't listen..

But in the meantime, I think this makes him more intelligent then all the industry put together in some ways. The fact that he allows and even encourages sharing of his music is so great, I can't really put it in words.

  • i have more respect for this type of artist, because he realizes that music is something that should be shared freely and when you think about it, we only live once, so who needs to worry about copyrights and album sales? Its all about music and respect.

  • What you say is simply the truth.

  • cheers for that !!!

  • You're welcome.

  • @EternalSoul175

    You!

You need to put War Manual of Gear up on the You Tubes!

It's one of my favorites. Susumu Hirawasa is good!

    All over.

  • @EternalSoul175 "That's the way the music industry should be."

No! Thats they way art should be. Free and for everyone.

  • @olefunk13 People still need to make a living. I think we should be able to discover art for free and then make an effort to finance the endeavors of artists who deserve it.

  • It's in 3/4 time, its a nice beat w/ that time sig.

  • songs in 3/4 always make me feel like i'm running... and this one in particular makes me believe it's an ethereal destination

  • mm, put my more examples of songs in 3/4

  • Truly beautiful.

  • Simply put, this is one of those songs that literally does not sound like its of this world. like most, if not all of his composisions, beautiful.

  • This song is like a welcoming ocean wave crashing down. The soothing music and the background vocals rise in union; never are they so determined to wash away all the pains, the hatreds, the hardships of a weary soul who longs for a reprieve in this complex world. Utopia may not exist in reality, but it can exist in the heart - where it strives to work wonders and make one keeping faith of what future what he or she wants to make out of.

  • I dont know what the fuck joo just said, but I already agree.

  • do u always put multipul comments on vids?

  • you are such a cliche

  • my friend told me about this. i love it.

  • your friend is a real friend. listen to him.

  • They should have sent this song into space instead of Beatles.

    Great song from great man.

  • the Beatles were never sent into space as far as I know ... greedy copyright executives wanted royalties from aliens rather than a shot at eternal fame

the Voyager probes did have records with a lot of different music on em but they were sent out before Hirasawa's time

  • Beautiful....

  • I cry evertime I hear this fucking song. Oh god, No one knows how to make me cry other than Susumu Hirasawa's music. Its just soo damn beautiful.

  • This is one of the songs in BERSERK.....

    its sooooooooooooo moving T_T

  • wait.. wut?

are you referring to that video called "Susumu Hirasawa and Berserk"?

Remember. Susumu hirasawa didnt start writing music directly for Berserk until the anime started.

so therefore, World Cell song by Susumu Hirasawa encouraged and influenced alot of Miura's themes and style of illistration. without Hirasawa, there probably wouldnt be a berserk. so... yea.... This song should be in berserk, saddly, it cant be. lol =3

  • Yup. Another case of great sounds with proper voice.... just great.

  • I can never get enough of this song. Love it. I would love to be able to make songs like this.

  • beautiful song from his best work!

  • This is a beautiful song. The mixture of melodies, everything, just seems to fit right.

  • this is amazing im glad its getting hits as well.. now ill be even more glad when i can get my hands on this album! anyone in nz please help me out ( no copied cds either :P)

  • What happened to K3NJehXD?

  • Indeed, just beautiful

  • the essence of world and the unspoken words...

  • Very nice music. I will subscribe to the channel and check it out some more later.

    With respect,

    TANKAR

  • As always a beautiful piece by Mr. Hirasawa. This song without words can describe conflicting feelings of the heart and soul, something that the person feeling those must confront and deal with, or it could probably mean a tragic prince who has just lost everything in his life and now seeks peace in life. Whatever you may think Susumu Hirasawa has just depicted it here in this song, Thank you for uploading this wonderful masterpiece and love from the States Mr. Hirasawa

  • There's something very wrong with the fact that the most incredible song on youtube has only 1500 views.

  • Haha im just glad its getting views really.

  • @TheFuryLivesOn Are you Susumu?

  • Fuckin' A, this shit beautiful!

  • susumu's works are amazing

  • amazing song form his best disc!

  • 2:50 to 3:15 is my favorite part. magic isnt real until you hear hirasawa

  • World Cell makes me want to shed tears. It's amazing how Hirasawa-shi's songs and instrumentals can invoke different states of consciousness and emotions.

  • hate to kiss ass but you're SOOOO RIIIIIGHT!!!!

  • Definitely his most amazing non-vocal songs. I've always wondered if it meant cell as in biological or as in prison cell...

  • could be a strike on the government making the world a cell. Thats probably straining it but w/e you interpret it as its probably correct, lol.

  • Very nice 5/5

  • This song is in 3, not 5

  • Nice music! This guy is so versatile that he can do this funeral-grade music along with Forces 2.0 while also being able to create catchy and uplifting tunes like the ones in millenium actress. Man I love this guy!!! For over 20 yrs never have I taken such a liking towards a musician before XD!!!

Btw is this music related to Berserk in anyway? Just curious since I heard this song in some Berserk-related music material on youtube.

  • Nah, it ain't. But I advise you listen to 'Earth' also by Susumu Hirasawa if you liked this song, it's rather similar.

I'll be uploading the music from the Dreamcast game 'Sword Of The Berserk' soon, so be sure to check that out. ;)

  • i love this song wowowowow !!!!!!!!
