I went and checked it out and I'm fairly certain that it's not a specific song, just something that was composed for the show. However it is based on a chord progression that is very common in barbershop and doo-wop, for example, it baers a close resemblence to the chord progression of "Sh-boom". If you look up Family Guy AIDS or Vasectomy songs, they have original pieces based on standard progressions as well. Hilarious too!

That's what I thought - I'm actually really interested in joining a quartet, and make some videos of me, multitracking. (My Toxic one is my favorite). That's why I don't call them barbershop - I didn't think any acapella group could claim to be barbershop.
