Interesting topic! Yes some do use the lesbian stereotypes and some males dont, but she has a point. I think the female gay stereotype might be less socialy supported than the male gay stereotype. Maybe because stereotypical gay males are adooored by straight females, while stereotypical gay girls are unfortunately not finding similar support?
Female sexuality and male sexuality have historically been treated very different, may be that there is such a statistical differance.
Faggots make me sick and want to puke. Lesbians are ok as long as their feminine. Butch lesbians make me want to puke. And what's up with a good looking woman who dates another woman who looks like a man. What's up with that shit? If you're going to be attracted to male qualities then why not just go for the guy? Gays are just fucked in the head

i think youve made good points in your videos. and im glad you touch on the gay subject.im a gay guy. and i think why some of these other people are attacking you is because your generalizing and calling it facts. which is not the crime of the century. i do it all the time. but being gay and finding a partner is hard for anyone . still you have a point cause there seems to be more ''opportunities'' i guess like online and groups and stuff for gay men. my friend whos a lesbian would agree.
I find you irritating and insulting. I'm straight but I have a gay and lesbian cousin. Gay guys are still Guys and you are going with the sterotypes I actually think at large it's easier to see a lesbian because alot of the time they are less feminen.
Think about this: How do you think it would go down if you made a video about "How to spot a Jew?" Many people would be at least uncomfortable and probably expect your video to be filled with anti-semitic remarks and beliefs. I can just imagine what you'd be saying. Such things as they have whiny voices, act annoyed all the time, and come across as callous. And aren't familiar with the expression "excuse me."
@designersky If fact something similar did happen during the Third Reich. Also included in the propoganda during it were suggestions of telltale facial characteristics such as narrow faces and long noses. Somewhat like you look like.
@Kailys3 I dont know. I guess its just one of those weird things. Although as time goes by it gets a little easier to know when a man is gay. But ever since high scholl I have always been able to tell when a woman is gay.
How silly and naive. This stupid girl hasn't figured it out that she may have seen or known gay men who do not exhibit stereotypical behavior and because she was unaware of their sexual orientation thinks they don't exist. Two examples from millions: 1 A guy I knew in the carpenters union 30 years ago and came out to me and another buddy after we knew him for 6 months and decided he could trust us. 2 My gay brother who can hang out at a straight sports bar undetected.
@rationalist47 Do you people even fucking watch the video? I already said, specifically in the video, that there are plenty of men who are gay and don't "act it!" My point is that even females who are gay don't typically "act" a certain way that reveals it!
@1066gull I...have no idea, lol. I think you are whatever you are. Just make sure you don't claim homosexuality just to be 'different'...I know some girls who do and it's just ridiculous
Y'know. I think I know where you come from, but there is a VAST majority of gay men out there that aren't stereotypical. Perhaps you befriend these guys because they DO act it, but I'd venture to guess you are missing the rest because they aren't noticable. But I do agree. It's easier to identify stereotypical gay men than it is a lesbian. Athough, there are those butch dikes.... BTW I don't act gay. I have to wear a pride ring just to advertise.
Lol he probably diddn't mean biggoted. I'm shy and people have interpreted that as gay before. You probably missed a lot of the masculine gays with these sweeping conclusions though.
The guy I'm madly in love with says he's gay. But me and my bestfriend both think he's faking. For one, he doesn't act gay AT ALL! Two, he's still perverted and touchy feely around girls. Three, the guys he "says" he likes are total jerks and never would like him in a million years.
So do you think he's gay or not? I just want to know bc like I said I'm madly in love with him.
@TheQuietGirl23 He's probably lying to turn you down more gently. I doubt you're madly in love with him if you're not even with him, though. A big crush does not love make :p
Just respect that he doesn't like you and back off. I'm afraid to say there's no way to "make" someone like you if they don't already, and pursuing them when they've already turned you down (either directly or by telling you they're gay) is only going to freak them out and make them avoid you entirely.
An effeminate gay man may be easy to spot but they are not representative of all gay men. A masculine lesbian woman is just as easy to spot as an effeminate gay man. There are simply more effeminate gay men than masculine lesbian women.
Plenty do not fit a behavior stereotype. Look for non stereotypical cues like a women that is indifferent to men around her. Perhaps she makes eye contact with other women often or steals a glance at a womens body. Women are a not a simple pursuit so be clever.
wow, you are bisexual. a bisexual girl who tries to sound intellectual and who doesn't shut the fuck up, i have never ever ever seen that before, ever
@downinthatgrass I have never met a male who acts the stereotype of "gay" that wasn't. I never said if they're gay, they HAVE to act a certain way. However, it's simply inaccurate to say that males adhering to the gay stereotype isn't useful as an indicator that they might actually be gay, since as I've said, I've NEVER heard of a male "acting" gay without actually being homosexual.
I................. ..... . . Dont think you need makeup, but thats jus me. I wouldnt expect you not to but you dont need it + you got a nice voice too.
My only concern are the Children who would like to know their biological parents. How would a child trace their family Tree/Genes-DNA Hertiage if they have/had Gay parents? It is hard enuff to ease their want-to-know with single parenting [Father/Mother whereabouts unknown]
I know this is kind of off topic, but those questions we answer on health forms Example: Do your Parents/Family have a history of Breat Cancer? Well a child with 1/2 mom DNA & 1/2 dad DNA being raised by a Gay couplecan not be 100% sure due to AT LEAST one biological parent being unknown.
Uh, that doesn't just apply to gay couples' children. Any adopted kid won't be told their biological history, if the birth parents ordered their identities not to be disclosed o.- What on earth does that have to do with the parents being gay or not?
It increase the LACK of information U just mention in our society "biological history", I KNOW couples that live together and one of the fems gave birth to a child In-Vitro. Only one of the Gay couple DNA is part of that child.
One of my fam members is completing a Family tree/trace online. Very hard to trace who Genes/Fam roots came from where from 1800's back due LACK of info... and is knowing both parents.... I do not know where my ancestors came from ---- to USA.
It also makes it HARDER for Doctors to find the correct procedure to make a person well when their Family Health traits are not known. Just saying. Not bashing Gays or Straights... Just Saying it hurts these areas.
Why do you want to "spot a gay" anyway? Gay or not, people are people, and unless you're seeking a way to subjugate someone, I can't think why you'd want to determine their sexual orientation. O.- If you're that curious about it, go up and ask them...but be aware that if they're a homophobe, they're going to take great offense.
Well, instead of flat out asking him, you could see how he feels about gays in general. You know, get in a conversation with him, state your grievances that the gay marriage ban went into effect. If he says that he hates gays, well then, he's probably not dateable material o.-
I think what you ar trying to say is that the rules of society are tighter against males than females which constrain males to act more masculine and even perform homophobic acts to keep them to appear hetero. e.g. males and females can wear slacks, but only females can wear skirts without social critique.
The reason why its easier to tell when guys are gay is because they are much more confident with themselves and do not let the fear of rejection hold them back from coming out and showing it.
And there are too many gay/bi women to tell anyways, 1/4 women have had homosexual experiences (experimenting)
I can tell when women are gay personally, they tend to hate me quite a bit.
Maybe it's just easier for men to tell when girls are gay like how girls can tell when guys ar gay. Who cares anyways?
I don't think that it's confidence...simply that unless a girl is extremely butch, gay females and straight females act/dress/behave about the same way.
"who cares" is kind of a silly question. I'm not advocating prosecution of gays or anything like that, but to never question anything in life makes you no better than a base animal living off instinct.
Have you ever seen that show about spotting gay people?
I guess it's kinda like that... You arn't going to know if someone is gay unless they want other people to know....And I meant who cares as in who cares what I have to say anyways?? Not as in who cares what you have to say, I'm just not that kind of person.. And there are experts that talk about this stuff. Like Sigmund Frued, the only way we can understand is by knowing why.
Orr they could honestly have no intention of dressing in pink boas and talking with a lisp. e.e believe it or not, sexual orientation often has nothing to do with one's preference for dress/speech patterns/other interests.
It's not an actual tutorial video. Chill out. There's not really a hard-and-fast guide to "spotting gays," just spotting likely candidates for certain stereotypes e.e
i was looking for information about How to Spot a Gay person i thought i was going to find my answer in this video but you kept talking and talking and talking about nothing for 7min 14 sec and it was not helpfull at all and i have a low speed connection which made me wait for half an hour to watch you responding to this marshmallow called guy. please don`t you ever use misleading subjects for your videos because, its not civilized and not COOL
spank some girl's but blame it on some guy say guys are such pigs, and say have you ever gone out with a guy? and if they say no say Mmm wanna get it on, i have a webcam :)
Um i got a few tips on spotting a lezbo if they are 6 feet tall have tatoos on their arms and look like a man, talk like a man and carry 36 year old women on their shoulders
That's guessing a little high, don't you think? The internet at large has an average IQ of about 50. Youtubers especially hover around 25, I'd say. In other words, just high enough over braindead to bang out the most misspelled, overused insults they can think of and click "post comment."
Maybe if you had to answer a simple math problem before posting comments, we could really work on culling the herd of haters XD
Well, there are as many flamboyant, feminine gays as there are butchy, guyish lesbians out there. I don't think it's easier to spot gays. And these are the ones easy to spot. The normal ones, you'd just never notice as gay and therefore you think they don't exist. I for my part think lesbians are easier to spot. :)
OMG. It's about time someone out there was explaining my exact thoughts and feelings on this situation. I'm one of those gays tht doesn't act it... at all. So usually people don't believe me when I tell them. It takes a while to sink in. Why it does, IDK, but at least they don't care. Even the biggest homophobes I know turn out to think it's the coolest thing, cuz I'm gay, but I'm JUST like them lol. I even had one of them say "I love you man", he was sick of all the super girly gays in town.0-o
To expand upon what I was saying, it is impossible to tell a black person from a white person only based on behavior when they are both raised in the same place, experience the same affection from the community and are exposed to the same media. How you act in different situations is based on both hereditary traits and your experiences, but I highly doubt that the same things that influence skin color and sexuality directly effect other behaviors and traits.
This is stupid. There is no way to "act gay", it is like saying someone is "acting black". It is true, a lot of gays may act similar, but it isn't because they are gay, it is because they hang around more people who are like them. It just shows that there is a problem, the problem is lack of diversity. I'm confident that if society was extremely diverse that it would be hard to tell a gay person from someone who isn't gay.
I didn't say they 'act gay' because they are gay. I never said that. I said that typically, in my humble experience, males who behave like a stereotypical gay do so because they ARE gay. I did not say that all gay males act it e.e Oi.
Basically, what you're saying is you rarely see a girl and think "She's gay." I would agree. However, I do see guys a lot and think "They're gay", because they are acting like the general idea of a "stereotypical gay".
It's true that the wedding ring tells you someone is not available, but if you don't see a ring then everything is possible! That's what I think. If u like a girl just go up to her and start talking. If she IS gay then u are lucky, if not well try to turn her.
heya i just wonna say i so back u up on tht point how it is easier to spot a gay guy to a gay girl. i my self is a lesbian and i so find it hard to find a girl lol but yeh awsome video x:P
Sorry, but I completely disagree with you. You can't always tell if a guy is gay. I'm gay and usually nobody can tell I'm gay, maybe because I'm very masculine or like a lot things that are considered "straight". Also, I know other guys like me. I think since you're from Cali and see lots of gay guys that act feminine then you think that is really easy to spot a gay gay by his actions. But I bet your gaydar wouldn't be that good if i put you in a room with some of the people that I know.
again you people with your 'always'. Christ, I did not say 'always'. I said 'usually', as compared to gay females, who are very very hard to distinguish by looks alone.
I totally hear you, but I think it depends on where you live and what crowd you hang with. I'm gay, and most people don't know when they first meet me. The same is true of most of my current friends. Now, ten years ago, though, when I was more into the club scene, the opposite was true: my friends were raging homos and you could smell the gayness from fifty feet away.
Anyways, I think it's often pretty easy to tell lesbians apart from straight women: a lot of the queer girls I know don't embrace the ideas of traditional femininity and actively reject the pursuit of the ideal of female beauty. A lot of them, for example, have short hair, don't wear makeup, and select their clothing based on comfort rather than fashion. I think that's awesome, personally, but it does present an obvious immediate difference...
Anyways, I think anyone who suggests that you're homophobic or racist is clearly a complete brain-dead retard, and I agree with you fully at the end of your video when you express frustration at being deemed racist, homophobic, etc. for mentioning the race, sexual orientation, etc. of a person when referencing them. Stupid. There's nothing wrong with saying, "The black guy..." *rolls eyes*
thing taboo to say, because if we can't even mention race, what does that indicate? That we're ashamed? That we can't recognize and celebrate racial characteristics?
I also hate it when people call me racist for saying something like, "I generally am not attracted to (fill in race) guys." It's not in any way a negative reflection or opinion of the race mentioned; it's just a physical fact.
Anyways, just stumbled across you on here and like your vids so far! Nice to meet you! *waves*
OMG...there are PLENTY of women who you can tell is soooooo gay! The BUTCH look...one's who dress manly and act manly...then there are girls like me who is a lesbian who looks very much girly...it goes both ways.
Um, to be fair, I don't think you can be an accurate judge of how 'gay' you yourself look :p
I mean by and large, a girly female would just be considered the princess-type, I seriously doubt anyone would make the leap in logic that you were a femme lesbian.
Eheh, I don't have an Ipod. I have a laptop if I really need to bring video around with me, otherwise I use my phone to listen to music. And did they ever actually have a relationship? I thought it was just implied <<
Aw, you poor thing. I only just got my first iPod this week as an early 18th b-day present. Well...the relationship between those two is left a little ambiguous, so it could go both ways; either as really really good friends or lesbians. lol Personally, I think they married each other. O_o
Xena was canceled? I thought it ended because the story was over and done with. =O Haha, well I was 4 years old when the show first aired on TV, so I don't have any nostalgic memories of the show. xD
Why no red dot for gay females? or blue dot or pink dot or whatever. My guess is that women gay and straight would all wear the dots to keep men from hitting on them and conversely guys would assume that if a woman didn't have a dot or a wedding ring and she was out in public it must mean she wants sex.
What's up with people disbelieving that bisexuals exist? I don't get that, why can't people like or dislike both. Sexuality is too complex to be either/or. I've never felt any gender preference either, though I'm ace. There are people that truly have no gender preference.
so on a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you hate gay people? 1 being a lot and 10 being more than you can stand
Just because you're a self loathing gay, doesn't mean you can go and hate on the rest of the gays.
I mean if you go swimming with a bunch of gay people and just put your feet in the water, no one would say you're a gay swimmer but swim with the gays and..
there is no real thing as BiSexual(unless you are a Hermaphrodite) you are just Gay+, you like gay sex plus normal sex. stop hating
I don't think he even watched the video haha, just another nameless troll stumbling about the internet attempting to spread poison into everything it touches e.e
i will say a lot of homosexual males choose to follow the stereotyped charicature (misspell?? lol), but do you have a similar theory for bi guys? I'm bi, that's y i ask. =P
I don't actually know of any stereotypes of bi guys, heh. Most every guy I meet is either straight or gay...unlike females, whom half of which claim to be bi XD
UGH! i hate the one's who just claim it. When i came out was around the time when it was somehow "cool" to be gay. The guys who say they are and aren't as well as metro guys are so frustrating!! i don't know which tree to bark up anymore!! lol. =P
I've been noticing how girls say to other girls that they're "cute" and "pretty." I'm really confused about this. How can they think a girl looks good if they like guys? When they say that, is there no sexual reference?
If a guy would say something to another guy, he would be considred 'gay."...
Because we're not super afraid of being labeled 'gay' because we notice if another of our gender is attractive, haha. It's silly that a guy would be considered 'gay' for saying 'hey, that guy looks good', but unfortunately, homophobic as most guys are, that's the case. Do you mean you can't see any beauty in art done of males either, simply because it's done of a male?
Its easy as hell ^_^ how can you not tell, when a guy comes up to you wearing skinny jeans and heels with a tank top he is gay, OH AND EARING AND LIPSTICK. I was helped by one at H&M, and in my town they wear girls cloths and rainbows and so love, so its easy. With females its hard, because sometimes you think they are actually guys and at the end they are female.
Um, I don't really mean by clothing, though certainly wearing drag is usually a good indicator. None of the gay guy friends I have dress like women though o.-
first of im a big time fan... second... i agree with you on most of your points... i did hear everything but yea... it is REALLY hard to tell a gay female from a strait one... i have had several lesbian friends... but in the world of today... its getting just as hard to tell with men... i have had plenty of guy friends who act and talk like they are gay but are completly strait... like they have had many relationships with females and stuff... but i agree with you 93.5%
You're a cutie. And i like your rambling videos. Ignore the haters.

I find you irritating and insulting. I'm straight but I have a gay and lesbian cousin. Gay guys are still Guys and you are going with the sterotypes I actually think at large it's easier to see a lesbian because alot of the time they are less feminen.
lolwow8 1 year ago
Think about this: How do you think it would go down if you made a video about "How to spot a Jew?" Many people would be at least uncomfortable and probably expect your video to be filled with anti-semitic remarks and beliefs. I can just imagine what you'd be saying. Such things as they have whiny voices, act annoyed all the time, and come across as callous. And aren't familiar with the expression "excuse me."

@designersky If fact something similar did happen during the Third Reich. Also included in the propoganda during it were suggestions of telltale facial characteristics such as narrow faces and long noses. Somewhat like you look like.

2 My gay brother who can hang out at a straight sports bar undetected.
rationalist47 1 year ago
@rationalist47 Do you people even fucking watch the video? I already said, specifically in the video, that there are plenty of men who are gay and don't "act it!" My point is that even females who are gay don't typically "act" a certain way that reveals it!

You probably missed a lot of the masculine gays with these sweeping conclusions though.
fredbloggs02 1 year ago
The guy I'm madly in love with says he's gay. But me and my bestfriend both think he's faking. For one, he doesn't act gay AT ALL! Two, he's still perverted and touchy feely around girls. Three, the guys he "says" he likes are total jerks and never would like him in a million years.
So do you think he's gay or not? I just want to know bc like I said I'm madly in love with him.
TheQuietGirl23 2 years ago
@TheQuietGirl23 He's probably lying to turn you down more gently. I doubt you're madly in love with him if you're not even with him, though. A big crush does not love make :p
Just respect that he doesn't like you and back off. I'm afraid to say there's no way to "make" someone like you if they don't already, and pursuing them when they've already turned you down (either directly or by telling you they're gay) is only going to freak them out and make them avoid you entirely.
Kailys3 2 years ago
An effeminate gay man may be easy to spot but they are not representative of all gay men. A masculine lesbian woman is just as easy to spot as an effeminate gay man. There are simply more effeminate gay men than masculine lesbian women.
Plenty do not fit a behavior stereotype. Look for non stereotypical cues like a women that is indifferent to men around her. Perhaps she makes eye contact with other women often or steals a glance at a womens body. Women are a not a simple pursuit so be clever.

sexuality does NOT equal gender expression, which is what people use for their "gaydars".
downinthatgrass 2 years ago
@downinthatgrass I have never met a male who acts the stereotype of "gay" that wasn't. I never said if they're gay, they HAVE to act a certain way. However, it's simply inaccurate to say that males adhering to the gay stereotype isn't useful as an indicator that they might actually be gay, since as I've said, I've NEVER heard of a male "acting" gay without actually being homosexual.

My only concern are the Children who would like to know their biological parents. How would a child trace their family Tree/Genes-DNA Hertiage if they have/had Gay parents? It is hard enuff to ease their want-to-know with single parenting [Father/Mother whereabouts unknown]
nuffflavor 2 years ago
I know this is kind of off topic, but those questions we answer on health forms Example: Do your Parents/Family have a history of Breat Cancer? Well a child with 1/2 mom DNA & 1/2 dad DNA being raised by a Gay couplecan not be 100% sure due to AT LEAST one biological parent being unknown.
nuffflavor 2 years ago
Uh, that doesn't just apply to gay couples' children. Any adopted kid won't be told their biological history, if the birth parents ordered their identities not to be disclosed o.- What on earth does that have to do with the parents being gay or not?
Kailys3 2 years ago
It increase the LACK of information U just mention in our society "biological history", I KNOW couples that live together and one of the fems gave birth to a child In-Vitro. Only one of the Gay couple DNA is part of that child.
nuffflavor 2 years ago
One of my fam members is completing a Family tree/trace online. Very hard to trace who Genes/Fam roots came from where from 1800's back due LACK of info... and is knowing both parents.... I do not know where my ancestors came from ---- to USA.

2009pillowfight 2 years ago
Uh, you're asking me for advice?
Why do you want to "spot a gay" anyway? Gay or not, people are people, and unless you're seeking a way to subjugate someone, I can't think why you'd want to determine their sexual orientation. O.- If you're that curious about it, go up and ask them...but be aware that if they're a homophobe, they're going to take great offense.
Kailys3 2 years ago
i want to "spot out a gay" because i like the guy.
and i am secretly gay so i cant exactly walk up and ask him.
plus, openly gay guys always have their way of "spotting me out", even though i try so hard to hide it.
well thanks for your help anyway .= )
2009pillowfight 2 years ago
Well, instead of flat out asking him, you could see how he feels about gays in general. You know, get in a conversation with him, state your grievances that the gay marriage ban went into effect. If he says that he hates gays, well then, he's probably not dateable material o.-
Kailys3 2 years ago
ah yea, true
your totally right.
thanks for your help.
= )
2009pillowfight 2 years ago
I think what you ar trying to say is that the rules of society are tighter against males than females which constrain males to act more masculine and even perform homophobic acts to keep them to appear hetero. e.g. males and females can wear slacks, but only females can wear skirts without social critique.
caatabatic 2 years ago
Umm, sort of, I guess?
Kailys3 2 years ago
The reason why its easier to tell when guys are gay is because they are much more confident with themselves and do not let the fear of rejection hold them back from coming out and showing it.
And there are too many gay/bi women to tell anyways, 1/4 women have had homosexual experiences (experimenting)
I can tell when women are gay personally, they tend to hate me quite a bit.
Maybe it's just easier for men to tell when girls are gay like how girls can tell when guys ar gay. Who cares anyways?
jlancehogan 2 years ago
I don't think that it's confidence...simply that unless a girl is extremely butch, gay females and straight females act/dress/behave about the same way.
"who cares" is kind of a silly question. I'm not advocating prosecution of gays or anything like that, but to never question anything in life makes you no better than a base animal living off instinct.
Kailys3 2 years ago
Have you ever seen that show about spotting gay people?
I guess it's kinda like that... You arn't going to know if someone is gay unless they want other people to know....And I meant who cares as in who cares what I have to say anyways?? Not as in who cares what you have to say, I'm just not that kind of person.. And there are experts that talk about this stuff. Like Sigmund Frued, the only way we can understand is by knowing why.
jlancehogan 2 years ago

That's guessing a little high, don't you think? The internet at large has an average IQ of about 50. Youtubers especially hover around 25, I'd say. In other words, just high enough over braindead to bang out the most misspelled, overused insults they can think of and click "post comment."
Maybe if you had to answer a simple math problem before posting comments, we could really work on culling the herd of haters XD
Kailys3 2 years ago
Well, there are as many flamboyant, feminine gays as there are butchy, guyish lesbians out there. I don't think it's easier to spot gays. And these are the ones easy to spot. The normal ones, you'd just never notice as gay and therefore you think they don't exist. I for my part think lesbians are easier to spot. :)

Sekinto 2 years ago
This is stupid. There is no way to "act gay", it is like saying someone is "acting black". It is true, a lot of gays may act similar, but it isn't because they are gay, it is because they hang around more people who are like them. It just shows that there is a problem, the problem is lack of diversity. I'm confident that if society was extremely diverse that it would be hard to tell a gay person from someone who isn't gay.
Sekinto 2 years ago
I didn't say they 'act gay' because they are gay. I never said that. I said that typically, in my humble experience, males who behave like a stereotypical gay do so because they ARE gay. I did not say that all gay males act it e.e Oi.
Kailys3 2 years ago
Basically, what you're saying is you rarely see a girl and think "She's gay." I would agree. However, I do see guys a lot and think "They're gay", because they are acting like the general idea of a "stereotypical gay".

Kailys3 2 years ago
Sorry, but I completely disagree with you. You can't always tell if a guy is gay. I'm gay and usually nobody can tell I'm gay, maybe because I'm very masculine or like a lot things that are considered "straight". Also, I know other guys like me. I think since you're from Cali and see lots of gay guys that act feminine then you think that is really easy to spot a gay gay by his actions. But I bet your gaydar wouldn't be that good if i put you in a room with some of the people that I know.
greekmathician 2 years ago
again you people with your 'always'. Christ, I did not say 'always'. I said 'usually', as compared to gay females, who are very very hard to distinguish by looks alone.
Kailys3 2 years ago
I totally hear you, but I think it depends on where you live and what crowd you hang with. I'm gay, and most people don't know when they first meet me. The same is true of most of my current friends. Now, ten years ago, though, when I was more into the club scene, the opposite was true: my friends were raging homos and you could smell the gayness from fifty feet away.
(ctd)
vorpal22 2 years ago
Anyways, I think it's often pretty easy to tell lesbians apart from straight women: a lot of the queer girls I know don't embrace the ideas of traditional femininity and actively reject the pursuit of the ideal of female beauty. A lot of them, for example, have short hair, don't wear makeup, and select their clothing based on comfort rather than fashion. I think that's awesome, personally, but it does present an obvious immediate difference...
(ctd again, stupid limits)
vorpal22 2 years ago
that can be taken to identify them as lesbians.
I'd say it's more racist to make that kind of...
vorpal22 2 years ago
thing taboo to say, because if we can't even mention race, what does that indicate? That we're ashamed? That we can't recognize and celebrate racial characteristics?
I also hate it when people call me racist for saying something like, "I generally am not attracted to (fill in race) guys." It's not in any way a negative reflection or opinion of the race mentioned; it's just a physical fact.
Anyways, just stumbled across you on here and like your vids so far! Nice to meet you! *waves*

Why no red dot for gay females? or blue dot or pink dot or whatever. My guess is that women gay and straight would all wear the dots to keep men from hitting on them and conversely guys would assume that if a woman didn't have a dot or a wedding ring and she was out in public it must mean she wants sex.
chainsuckers0898 3 years ago

Because we're not super afraid of being labeled 'gay' because we notice if another of our gender is attractive, haha.
