Hi there, I have video footage thats m2ts that came from my panasonic camcorder do i need to change the format before i upload it to you tube? I've tryed a few diferent things and it seems to take hrs, please help as i'm new to this thanx :) any help is appreciated

The Panasonic HD Writer software is very basic, you need to to get a decent video editor such as Corel Video Studio and you will have all the tools to upload to YouTube

Hi I can edit my videos fine.....does the HD Writer enable you to put music over the top of videos or is that option just in the highlights section?

@TKDFitch The HD writer software is very basic, if you want to add music you'll need to get better editing software like Corel Video Studio which will allow you to do this and much more

It looks like you can't drag and drop. Panasonic sucks! Their software doesn't recognize the .mts files that copied from my camera on to my hard drive. I am betting that I have to put the files back on the card and then copy them from camera to PC. There there is also some BS in the instructions about only being able to copy them once? What a stupid setup! It's no wonder people hack software all the time. If I am wrong I will edit this message. Panasonic you blow!

Hi, I'm not sure how you would make music clips from tv. If the source was HD then the quality would be good. Upload using mpeg4 at highest quality and it will look good

i mean i don't want to copy my videos into my pc so i wan to copy into the hd writer ....so that it won't overload my pc ... i'll do my editing in the hd writer ....

Hi evelyn9495, even if you don't want to copy the videos to your pc and just want to edit you will still need some tempory hard drive space while you edit to store the files. Most editing software works like this. I think I understand what you mean but correct me if I'm wrong.
