No both players deserved a technical for what happened...when two players get in each others faces in a college game it's going to be called a technical more times than not...they have less room for stuff like that than NBA guys...
Thanks alot mike jensen. You gave that game away with that foul. And washington was the team that should have won that game. But i forgot eastcoast bias. Go dawgs!!! There gonna beat WV.
I was at this game...people who claim the refs took this game away from UW are wrong...the key play other then Rashad's big 3 at the end was the play where Brandon Roy and Rudy Gay got into it and were both given technical fouls...it ended up being Roy's 4th foul and he had to go to the bench for like 10 minutes...when he left UW had like a 10 point lead and were in control...by the time he could come back in the game was tied or close to tied...
@wow13d So that was an example of the refs not taking it away from UW? Neither player warranted a technical but the refs decided to issue one knowing that Roy would pick up #4. It cost UW the game for no reason.
Lol. I thought this guy meant the NBA. He was My favorite Uconn player. But i knew he wasnt going to the nba, so I stopped following. But thanks for the info. Still got his jersey lol.
he's playing in Snaidero Udine (former team of sasha vujacic). he's doing really well, Udine is not at the top this season, but he scored 37 last game against the first italian team and we won 104-100. he had 7/8 from 3 points.
The disappointment still lingers from this 2006 UConn team. They will be remember as the team that didn't get the job done and win Coach Calhoun's third national title. Great NBA players from this team and game (Brandon Roy of UW)
