最近この続きの次世代マンガ（僕を包む光の月）があることに気が­ついたので読んでみた。まあ主に輪と亜梨子の息子の蓮の話なんだ­けど。

I recently realized that there is the sequel to this manga and just read it. The srory is mainly about the son of Rin and Alice. Rin is trying to be a good daddy to his 7 year old son Ren.

@NancyPhantom It was abrupt. The last few minutes when Rin is speaking, are images of what happens in the manga. They all find out that Rin is really Shino. Rin runs aways when his mother confronts him yelling, "Who are you?"

See, Shion was in love with Mokuren and Mokuren was in love with Shion though they didn't know about it.

Shion wanted Mokuren so badly and... He raped her.

He didn't actually rape her, did he? Wouldn't rape cause Mokuren to lose the clover mark on her forehead?

Gosh, I read the manga such a long time ago that I forgot how it ended.

I really should read it again some day.

He did rape her, but the clover didn't dissapear just because Mokuren was deeply in love with Shion ( And Shion didn't know about that, he thought that Mokuren loved Gyokuran) as I remember corectly.

Later she forgave him.

Anyway the doctor, Shukaido, secretly loved Mokuren too.

There was this misteorious virus,

Shukaido wanted to punish Shion , by "takeing" Mokuren from him - So he gave medicine to Shion and lied that he gave it to Mokuren too.

In result Mokuren died, and Shion lived on - ( he promised her to not commit suecide, so they woud meet again on Earth) for nine years, all alone on the Moon Base witch drove him mad.

Shukaido not only wanted to punish Shion for what he did, but letting him live longer also made Shion's reincarnation nine years younger than the others, giving Shukaido more of a chance to get to Mokuren's reincarnation first.

But why this ending? This is no real ending, there are so much open questions. Ok - I read the manga, so I know what happend forwards, but I want to see it too!!!! I found same szens with jap. dub. only, and they aren`t in the serie. But why?

i love this series.....i think everyone always wonders if they were someone else in another life, i think thats why i was hooked on the manga and the anime.....besides shion/rin had a really sad life...i dont blame him for his actions
