You know... people call him disabled. Which I know, technically, he is. But it occurs to me that the reason we call him disabled is that he can't walk without crutches. Well, I can't dance like that. Does that make me disabled? He can do something a lot of people can't, which to me kind of outranks what he can't do.

Well, well, don't judge the book by the cover. He has bilateral hip deformity, which causes the hips unable to support his weight the whole time.

I have a disability that is not obvious to people until I indictate my deafness because I don't wear the telltale sign, hearing aids. I speak perfectly well even though I am profound deaf since birth.

Bill Shannon is splendid example of living to the fullest regardless of his disability.
