Shes shot in this performance and was a few years back when she did Bloc Party too, but not THIS bad. Sad story because shes got the raw talent to put out many more albums, but her head isn't straight.

come on haters, the woman has had like five kids, and i believe she was pregnant at this time with the fifth one. pregnancy can lower the vocal range and make you hoarse. the same thing happened to whitney(who's chronic smoking also clearly didn't help).  often, even after pregnancy the hormonal changes in your body can have a lasting impact on ur vocal chords. so yes she sounds a little hoarse, but it's the natural state of things and she's working it nonetheless.

i was there in the second row she did look like the sand man from the apollo but she did her thing... she annouced that her voice was a lil raspy being she just came back from a long european tour... her band was outstanding her performance was great...she cam late but stayed there as long as she could... i felt her energy...towards the end was the best part of the show alot of people left so they missed out on a FANTASTIC finale!!!

She was freaking awesome. It started out slow, but she gained momentum. I think the second half of the show exploded. The energy at the end was just intense and joyful. I loved that the remaining crowd was so enthusiastic. It changed the whole show.
