very nice handwork and you have admitted your faults in non practical applications overall very nice video as long as you dont live in a backwards place like me in the state of pa you could look for some sword style competitions and yes touching the blade would mess you up lol maybe i should put a vid on here im more of a practical tho staff looks alright but with a katana your body creates the cutting power not your hands and arms ever looked into shaolin broadsword?

Pretty fancy and dangerous looking. If you fought like that against someone however, you would lose easily. Make something showing a little less fancy moves and a little more practical ones.

impressive, strange that this routine involves grabbin the blade quite a lot tho lol thers some interesting stuff in there, itd be better if ya hit with more force but the speed is there. Id advise you look at your footwork a bit more, it was a little shakey, but overall pretty good stuff!
