It lost viewers after it was off of the air for awhile due to the writer's strike, so people forgot to tune in again. They could've promoted it more too. So even though it was critically acclaimed (and has even won awards) and still had its dedicated fanbase, they canceled it. Bryan Fuller, the creator, is a creative genius but has had all of his great shows canceled (Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me and this one). Now he's writing for Heroes like he was in season one.

So I have never watched the show. I've been meaning to but..just haven't had time really. So I'm gathering from this vid that Ned brings back to life dead people? So would he kill a living person by touching them as well? I guess I could look it up.

Ned can touch people and they are fine. If they have died and he brings them to life he can't touch them again or they'll die again. Whomever he brings to life can only live for 1 minute or someone else must die in their place. That's why he can't touch Chuck or else he'll kill her.
