THE hal douglas. he did voice overs for tbs as well. frank caliendo does the " movie trailer voice " just not in this movie trailer :) in other versions. hal's voice is soft with depth the voice that frank does is more similar to lafontaine's which is deep and powerful. rather than soft with depth :) i'm a voice over guy myself lol

well buddy every voice like every person is distinguished with small kinks and little details that can tell you more than you need to know i'm a huge fan of hal douglas no matter how close frank can get he can't get it exactly the same. watch the short movie called the 3 movie trailer guys acting like the 3 tenors you'll hear frank's movie trailer voice. :) it's totally different. trust me i can distinguish the voice vibrations.

Frank Caliendo, in my opinion, truly is THE most prolific impressionist I have EVER seen! Not only does he impersonate SO many people, he does them ALL so incredibly well! One would be hard pressed to tell the difference between him and the real person in a blind test. And even though he is noted for his John Madden impersonation, I think his Robin Williams is even better! Funny, funny guy! Destined to become a comedic Legend! That you can be sure of! Great Clip!
