i play for Manchester city on top player and the idiots cannot score a goal even when i send them 1 on 1 on goalkeeper. They score 1 goal from 10 chances. It s frustrating - my overall at the age of 20 is 76. The improving is really slow. I play as a middfielder.

@eminny0214 scoring ability must be gained early in your career by scoring 5 games in a row and is for strikers only. 1-on-1 shot depends on your finishing and shot technique. shooting from distance depends on shooting power and shooting technique. Just increase the relevant stats to a high enough level (75-85) and you'll unlock the special abilities.

thanks.one of the 2 tricks you should know in pes 2009 is the fake shot which can be used anywhere on the pitch; in top player difficulty the defender always commits to your fake shot. there is also (not really a trick) zig zag dribble where you dribble diagonally in 1 direction and as the opponent closes in , switch direction diagonally. it is game breakingly effective to use.
