Hi, There all been moved in to the pond, A long time ago.... My latest video is the butterflys (that u can see in this video) and a chagoi, which have also been moved into the pond now. at 12 -14 inches long
Yh I bought them from ebay, from a guy in Manchester they were 2" long and he gave me 20 ghost koi's for £20, this video is alittle old now and they have grown to about 5-6" long.
My guess at first would be that there isn't enough oxygen in the water(heavy gasping), but none of them are swimming up to the surface to for air. So your guess is just as good as any.
Great collection of unique koi :) The white guy at 4:42 looks like he(or she) is going to be a beast in no time!
Yh I keep them In heated water and grow them a little bit before releasing them into my pond, They only come to the surface just for food, I've got alot of oxygen so it couldnt be due to less of that, An yh he looks a bit white but hes actually a bluely silver,
Koi do that period. I have 2 show Koi in my 220 gal show tank. (both koi rated 5-5-5-5-5) and they gasp like that to push water over their gill plates.
Thanks For the comment I only do a 10% water change every 2 weeks, An I hadnt had one done then, I havnt added any sort of medical treatment so I dont know whats the cause,
An yh a couple of the bigger ghosties are in the pond now
they looked hungry...

You don't need a heater with koi. They love temperatures around 68 F.

27.9 seems a little too hot for koi? tropical fish live in cooler water than that, maybe that's what's stressing them out

Lovely fish.
One thing - just be mindful, they are breathing a little too fast.

They look like they're stressed :(
Did you just perform a water change or add a medication treatment?
Besides the obvious (needs a much bigger tank/pond) maybe get a diffuser in there for better circulation. Good luck!
