This makes it easy for a trainer with a big class, but don't you risk someone hurting their shoulder, Holding pads? However, it looks like a great class. Maybe i'll start letting some people hold pads in my class. It's the same as blocking punches and we already do that.

Yes there is always a risk with pad work. Be sure to:
1. Match correctly eg size and power
2. Demo proper holding - elbows in tight close to body (no chicken wings)
3. Demo the combo each time, and let the class do it in slow motion before letting them go for it.
Key word overall is control. Focus on form before power. And give beginners extra attention.
