  • All Blacks too strong. And Japan is too weak.......

  • @itoaragon japanese rugby players are far from tiny

  • 0:32 why japanese is holding hand to his chest? hes moari? :D

  • Did they do better than they did in 1995?

  • I am Japanese. Rugby in Japan is not very popular, we hope that the day will come when the world's powerhouses and win the All Blacks one day! I hope the World Cup! !

  • Their thighs are...

    substantial.

  • hakahaka...haka!

  • Seems to me that the A/B's do this Haka with more intensity when in a match against the Ausies. This was a good one but to my eye at least, it didn't have that same level of craziness as in the vids where they're up against the Australian teams.

  • @rpwVideoInstruction This is the classic AB's too, they're all like late 30's early 40's I'd say. If they were younger they could probably do it better.

  • @rpwVideoInstruction Yeah, they kinda phoned it in. Maybe because they didn't really think their adversaries were true threats.

  • @rpwVideoInstruction Yeah, they kinda phoned it in. Maybe because they didn't really think their adversaries were true threats.

  • LOL those tiny japanese people against predator and his team

  • @AnderaTaunyapk891 yah crazy spam

  • all the japanese were probably like "OH MY GAWD GET DA CAMERA OUT TAKE DA PICTURE :B"

  • Samurai meets Tumatauenga

  • hahahaha even the home teams own fans have to cheer at the haka.

  • I ve got to learn this haka 4 when i go over seas to represent nz in baseball!!!!! It really pumps u up b4 a game.

  • 0:47 Hagga hagga :D

  • im proud to be maori

  • I was expecting the japanese do some ritual to show they accept the challenge. Still wicked though.

  • their thighs are like... bigger than my waist O_O

  • @rachelseagroatt and their arms are bigger than my thigh..

  • These are both beautiful island nations, and both countries are very well known for having strong brave warriors within their histories. I know nothing about rugby, I just know that theres two teams and a ball. But from someone who doesn't get it at all, I've gotta say that these parts of the match are amazing to watch. This match is particularly my favorite because you can just go back in time and imagine samurai stoically standing in front of their chanting Māori warrior opponents.

  • good luck to the japanese people!

  • Took some boys on a school Rugby tour from Australia. I had to beg the parents to not get the boys to sing back "Advance Australia Fair".

The only appropriate response to the haka is to stand shoulder to shoulder with your team mates and keep your mouth shut. You stand and accept the challenge. Anything you do just looks wannabe and pathetic

  • too bad they suck and when they lose they look like big retards

  • That was so boring.

  • xd

  • Pin drop silence! Beautiful crowd...

  • not only is it an honour to perform the haka for those who get to but it must equally be an honour for those facing it (who know what its about) to get the full experience i know it gives me chills when i get to see it at stadiums from the side lines... how awsome must it be for the people facing it head on?

  • @liamevans1987 Mate- I would shit my pants if I had to face a bunch of bloody big NZ boys doing a haka!

  • @notmemate which shows u have a respect for it, for it to strike fear is a good thing in my opinion but at the same time it must be such a good rush to be able to see it face to face

  • 0:09 XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • i bet some japanese ppl were like, wtf new zeeland, seriously!?

  • I bet the Japanese were thinking, "Oh Crap!..we're screwed!!"

  • obviously people like jihhn think they are far more superior to anybody else in the world but obviously not because of him posting ignorant comments.

  • I can only assume the Japanese realised half way through that they have to take on these monsters. But fair play to them for standing there and showing respect!

  • @SteveyJennings japanese moto no retreat no surrender, one samurai would have stood in front on his own and fought all of them wether he died or not,no mind no heart ,japanese also have tradition look at it before you judge them

  • instead of kicking and screaming they need tackle and crying

  • *Japanese run off feild

  • i do not c blacks these ppl are all white??

  • @twoule to state the blatantly obvious its because they play in black!

  • It be so cool if the Japanese came up with a Samurai based Chant....

  • respect!

  • I love how the Japanese team is giving the All Blacks full respect even though they know the chant means THEY'RE FUCKED.

  • I can't believe the audience was so quiet! They respected it as a performance.

  • I bet most of the Japanese players were pissing their pants during that dance!!!

  • poor Japs xDD

  • Jonahhh LOmuuu !!!!

  • japanese ppl ....of all the ideas they come up with anime and mangas..they couldn't

    think of something like this.

  • carlos spencer (y) the greatest creative flyhalf ever to play union

  • You can't beat a team like that. lol

  • where do the japanese find guys big enough to play rugby

  • @scarletNslver08 honestly, the guys AREN'T that big. thats why they usually get smashed in a international game. However, if you watch a game amongst japanese teams, it is really quite brutal. Their skill levels, I'd say are better than many Australian, South African and New Zealand teams, they just have the physical disadvantage.

  • @HINGERRR bulshit dude japan may be asia's to rugby nation u don't know what the fuck u are talking out off all the top rugby nations 90% of it has been the southern hemipshere.

  • @scarletNslver08 sumo's

  • Sounds like they chilled it down a bit for the Japanese.

  • japese respected the haka o boos ust yeaaaH!

  • Well I think the JAPANESE side handled well. Good body language. No fear at all. They are a feisty people and it has been truly pointed out that we are no longer at war. That's why we can play sports against each other.

  • Lol, fuckin' nips must of shat their pants

  • @IamToopy you are a racist retard.

they're japanese people not "fuckin' nips"

  • @BeVazn K there charlie.

  • @BeVazn

For the record. The japanese name for japan is Nippon.

So calling them Nips is closer to the intended name than Japanese.

    :) Cheers

  • This is a chilled out relaxed haka, if you could call it that.

  • these are not black ppl there new zealand aboriginals

  • @BigPaPaOG5 And white people too. Everyone seems to be forgetting the white boys in the All Blacks. The captain is fucking white. :(

  • @BigPaPaOG5 As an Australian living in New Zealand, I feel inclined to ask what the hell is a "New Zealand Aboriginal" - try again, mate.

On another note, the All Blacks do the Haka amazingly once again ^^,

  • @BlimeyBomb ummmmm, aboriginal means indigenous person of that country. that is why eskimos in alaska are call aboriginals fool. in aust they just didnt give them a colloquial name.

  • @emptynosound Sorry, I'm aware x.x it was meant to be more of the "Australians/New Zealanders steal 'everything' from New Zealand/Australia" joke, though looking back my comment wasn't at all clear.

  • @emptynosound the word used for natives in Aust is Koori...

  • i remember that year well 1997

  • LOMUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!

  • THE OLD BLACKS

  • Don't knock the Japs man. They keep comin back every World Cup. They do their best and never quit. I met Tanaka, one of their props, back in the 70's. Really nice bloke. I fancy myself as a bit of a hard case but I would@nve ***ed with him! WW2 is over.

  • jaja pobre japoneses.. despues de eso te pegas un cuiqui!

  • one minute he fucking around on his tamaguchi next minute some big black cunts threatening to spear him and eat him.....

  • Japan is sux

  • Japan has a rugby team?

  • @00JakeR00

    shut the fuck up.

  • @00JakeR00 japan has been playing rugby since 1800s and its current world standing is higher than both canada and usa.

  • The All Blacks won ya?

  • japan was like "wholy fuck what did we just get ourselves into"

  • Yeah that one guy looks freaked out.

  • whos is the guy leading the haka?

  • @goku180000 Eric Rush

  • @Jamac007 thanks man

  • lol 0:47

  • Japanese are people of full respect. They liked the haka and showed it even when it was the opponent performing it. I really like the japanese culture of respect.

  • What do you mean? All of them??

  • yeh im feelin that :)

  • @jihhn the japanese culture is one of the most if not most racist culture in the world.

  • @1969JohnLennon1969 Lol, yeah and western countries have a PROUD history of equality and non-racism eh.... /scoff

Just look to the comment above yours, buddy. I rest my case.

  • @blakjackal i don't rest my case joe. Regardless of "western culture" Japan still remains the same way i described it.

  • @1969JohnLennon1969 how so?

  • @jihhn japanese love the "freak show" factor about anything

  • @jihhn A culture which many western countries would no doubt benefit from!

  • @jihhn this was the coming together of two great cultures. shame we're running out of those :|

  • @jihhn Go figure... japanese once believed it was an honor if your enemy asked you to cut his head. Those people have a sense of honor and respect most of us we cant understand.

  • @jihhn Japanese people have a culture of bringing people up to believe that they are superior to everybody else in this world. That doesn't seem like a culture of respect to me.

  • @GShepardP

I've been living in Japan for 3 years now and I would say they are more of a humble nation. There are a lot of shy and insecure people, so they simply stick to they're land and culture, but that is all. (Actually a lot of them still think, that America is the top.) Still, they like interesting traditions and sights from other cultures, just like anyone else does.

  • @jihhn You said it perfectly.

  • The all blacks have only been doing half of ka mate since they ever started doing it, and theyve been doing it wrong the whole time lol

  • 1 year and half ago

  • anyonw knows when this game was played?

  • it was played in 98

  • that game wasnt in 98 it was in 07

  • Comment removed

  • mate that game was on may 9th 07-08 cant remember in kobe japan. There not sponsored from adidas because this is the "classic allblacks" not the All Blacks. There sponsered by master card. And justin marshall is the captain of the side a side which includes jonah lomu andrew mehrtens pita alatini and carlos spencer and more which I cant be bothered adding

  • Dude. "Japs", come on...

  • at 0.32 one of the japan guys has his hand to his heart for some reason as if it was their national anthem

  • all blacks smashed japan

  • No doubt someone, somewhere is planning have the Haka banned on the grounds that it is offensive to blacks/wommin/gays/children/disabled oh take your pick.

  • howso?

  • No doubt someone, somewhere has a skull full of shit. -_-

This is amazing to watch; it's from an old, beautiful and rich culture. Being offended by it means you have no idea what the hell it is, and probably haven't set foot more than 10 miles outside of whatever little podunk town in the middle of nowhere you were sheltered in your whole life.

  • @Otacon144

    Heheh feigned respect.

  • they already tried that when they started doing it. said it was too agressive. and with their new one people object to the slit throat gesture.

  • wtf haha it doesnt drain your energy XD

if anything it gets your blood pumping

  • 0:35

i swear they say fuked up :L

  • yeah I think they do too! D:

    hahah(;

  • Not good. It drains all your energy before the game.

  • What?

  • what does?

  • This is the Classic ABs (retired and ex-ABs) v Japan in 2007. The Classics won both games of the series (35-26 and 36-6). They've played again since. I think the Classics won 15-13.

  • HAHAHA. listen to the end, some japenese geezer saying haka. LMAO

  • i jappi li vedo preoccupati......

  • poor japs lol

  • against the japanese !!???... well what was the score plzzzz ????

  • and judo...believe me!!!!!

  • it was 145-17....

  • LOL ,tnx

  • this new zealand will not go down as greats or gain legendary status

  • lolzz i can hear a japanese guy going "haka haka"!!!..hahhaa

  • id fancy irelands chances these days against the all blacks tho...i remember willie anderson was the first player to stand face to face against it..directly infront of zinzan brooke..ok you bet us but respect to ireland

  • do it against ireland and youl see what youl get

  • They already did it against Ireland, many times...

  • LOL @ how after the haka NZL just walks away and japan books it.

  • HHAAAKKAA!!!!! ROAR!!!!!

  • Some of you people are ignorant as fuck.

You should be embracing Japanese rugby. Are you guys retarded or what?

I know alot of you are Kiwis and this might surprise you. But 99% of rugby fans outside of New Zealand are PISSED that you are hosting the next world cup.

EVERYONE wants Japan to host it. It's a complete travesty that they aren't! The Asian market is a key goal in furthering rugbys global popularity.

Last WC Japan lost to Fiji by only 4 points! The same number WALES LOST to Fiji by

  • Comment removed

  • 99%... how come your the only one I know that has a problem with this.

This is the 100th time ive had to reply to one of you comments.

On almost every vid ive seen you on, your always critizising NZ or Aus about something...

Why? Do you have a problem with the countries?

I'm not trying to start a fight, maybe it should have been hosted in Japan. But their time will come.

but please don't put up false statistics and exaggerate. You do it too much.

  • Or maybe you only choose to notice my comments when they happen to be directed at New Zealand?

On the contrary, as i've told you before, I have no problem at all with New Zealand or Australia.

The issue is rather you taking everything i say as an attack on NZ or Australia as countries, when it isn't that at all.

If I was a Kiwi I'm sure plenty of English people would say I'm Anti-English on the basis of some of the comments i leave on Youtube lmao.

  • And we both know my 99% was not to be taken literally. Obviously their isn't a study that's been done.

But the point is there, nobody outside of New Zealand actually wants New Zealand to host it. You know it's true.

That's not an attack on New Zealand, it's fucking reality. What's the point in having it in NZ when you can't logically afford it and you're already mad for rugby? It does nothing to help rugbys growth.

It's a bad decision and you know it.

  • I think that its a good thing Japan didn't get the cup.

The idea of spreading the game is noble but in my opinion 2011 was too soon for Japan, they aren't strong enough as a team yet. If they had been given the tournament they had no realistic shot at winning more then one game.

Seeing the home nation get mauled in such a way could actually be harmful for the sport. turning potential fans away.

  • The Top League in Japan is improving every year, another positive is that they can claim foreigners for the national side under residency. The Japanese union has been sneaky also recruiting teenagers from the pacific.

Furthermore, Japan has been added to the Pacific Nations Cup where they get to play international caliber sides every week.

Add all this together and by the time 2019 rolls around they will be genuine quarterfinal contenders. Thats when they should be given the tournament.

  • I disagree completely. If Soccer can host a world cup there then rugby can.

Hosting Rugby in japan would only raise awareness and increase the standard of play there.

You're looking for a negative that doesn't really exist.

Japan have proved their worth in major sporting events.

Giving the WC to New Zealand or even England does nothing for the game at all.

  • Did you read through both my comments properly? im all for Japan getting the go ahead eventually, but they are on the brink of becoming a truely competitive side. Give them a few more years to sort their shit out.

You speak of how much the game will catch on by them merely hosting the event, imagine the buzz around asia if they made the quarter finals!

  • Well how long do you want to wait lmao?

They don't have to make the quarter finals is the point. They didn't do shit in the football world cup(im not even sure they were in it) and the event was MASSIVE, it's done wonders for the sport.

The boats going to leave the docks soon. Japan wont be there forever. All it takes is some well thought out marketing and development from any of the other big international sports and the Asian market will be locked down.

  • On top of that, you're offering no opposition option in the argument of where it should be hosted.

It's all well and good playing down the idea of Japan having it, but when you have no logical alternative to Japan your argument doesn't hold up.

Giving it to New Zealand is a waste of time. Giving it to England is a waste of time. Giving it to South Africa is a waste of time.

Growth is the goal. Hosting in established rugby nations is nothing but time wasting and greed from the cunts in suits.

  • My arguement is anywhere but japan. SA, NZ, England, doesnt matter.

minimal growth now? or massive growth in future?

  • But that isn't an argument because there's no sense to anything you're saying lmao.

How is passing the World Cup between the old nations going to grow anything?

If anything it'll only strengthen the sport within our countries and help to keep the gap between the old and emerging nations.

There's no logic in anything you're saying.

  • There is logic, think about it.

We could give them the cup now, and there would be minimal growth in asia.

Or we could wait until Japan is a quality side and then give them the cup, they do well in the competition, and the gains are much larger then if they had just hosted it.

Japan isnt going anywhere, Its best to wait until they are strong enough to compete because once they host the tournament once it will be 20 something years before they can host it again

  • Ive already said 2019, did you read my other comment?

And theres no rush, you cant lock down the asian market! it cant be done.

The situation i think we have avoided is one where Japan hosts the 2011 world cup, gets raped by all comers, but the games still experiences growth in asia.

Then, in 2019 when i predict Japan will be on par with scotland and italy, You cant give them the cup again because they just had it.

And the huge growth from Japan doing well at home will be lost.

  • Of course you can lock it down, soccer are on the way to doing it.

And i'm not campaiging for Japan to host 2011 World Cup, we've acknowledged they've been robbed of that. I'm campaigning for them to get it in 2015.

You're not using your common sense. For Japan to even get out of the group stage they'd need to be in with 4 shit teams. The chance of the drawing 4 shit teams and going through whether now or in 2019, 2024 is about 500/1

  • You cant lock anywhere down! even in New Zealand we have more soccer players then rugby now.

And thats exactly my point! at the moment they need 4 shit teams to go through, but in 2019 they will be up to the standard of Italy and the Scots!

Awesome domestic comp + Foreign residency players + Poached teenagers + Pac nations cup where they get regular international standard competition (You saw what good that did for italy) = 2019 World Cup quarterfinalists contenders

  • It's okay saying it can't be locked down. But in 50 years of promotion what new countries is rugby really popular in? Even in Italy 98% don't even know what rugby is! It's easier to crack open markets than it is practically closed markets. Especially when rugby is run by incompetent cunts who can't even crack open markets most of the time!

And your point is stupid. What makes you think Japan will draw Italy and Scotland? They won't.

    So your point doesn't exist.

  • i can't beliueve im doing this and talking about soccer but bro, how much better are Italy than Scotland?

  • japan, rugby: WTF?!?!!?

  • Exactly.

I wonder how many broken bones the Japs suffered in this match...

  • Japan has the highest number Rugby clubs than any other country.

  • Japan is where most of the old dried up All Blacks go to make some pinger.

  • That's not fair. Why do they get to do a war dance?
