I beat down Belberith on my MC's second turn, before Belberith had a chance to attack any of my team. This was my first playthrough, too... I had maxed out attack stat, Pierce, Power Hit, Behemoth, and etc. I was just jumping for joy at how easy the final boss was, until I found out that Belberith wasn't really the final boss...
Because I had max attack stat, Pierce and Power Hit, trying to attack any of the demons on the last level (except for the Norn) was suicide for my MC, versus Tetrakarn.
The funiest part is huge chunks of these songs were cut out when you hear them in game. For example, this song just gives you a loop of 0:44 to 1:26. To be fair, most of the game's battle songs aren't given more than 15 seconds if you know what you're doing.
This theme makes me think of Naoya for some reason. Him and his beautiful floaty battle sprite. Seriously, I think it's the most beautiful thing in the entire game. Apart from the kickass OST, of course. :D

Pfft. It gets to the point where you can beat him in one turn. all you need is full might, pierce and deathbound... besides, babel and lucifer are a lot harder IMHO.
u can pierce belberith his defences against melee hits by using the pierce passive skill. so equip pierce to ur most biggest strength character and use deathbounds. and err it's quite handy to have phys. drain to heal urself when u use deathbounds. killed him easily :')

If you can you have try to have two of ur best attackers have one demon with long range attacks and one demon that attacks twice and that can make up for the time it takes to kill the Shomonaki ppl.

Just reach him as fast as possible with Devil Speed and Phantasma/Flight and use Holy Dance until he dies xD. I'd use Amane for this, if you have her in your team.
blandia: A Kishin-class demon + a healer/tank works as well. I used Kishin Nalagiri with Tyrant King Frost to get the job done. Tyranny (Recover MP + Force enemy Engage bar to rise faster) is flippin' powerful against the already slow Beldr

@Pokemarky Protip: Give your physical attacker Phys Repel. It blocks reflected attacks even if you have pierce.

I used Deity Shiva & Avian Garuda against belberith o.o works very well because of the Awakening + Holy/Force dance combo.

To tell you the truth, Beldr is almost as hard as the last boss on 1st walkthrough and some later Bels I fought are even easier than him..

Vile Orcus + Kishin Nalagiri is a great combo to win against Beldr -Range 3 atk and Double attack)
You attack 2 times from far away and keep the other allies close for support. Remember too have someone with one Megami Kikuri-hime.
