Thanks very much for responding and letting me know that this is all of the video that there is. Too-bad that you had to cut it short as I think that by the way it started this speech had a a great potential of becoming one of the top 5 Ron Paul videos for me. Hopefully someone else recorded the entire speech and will share it with us.

What was the turnout at the event? People's reactions?

Most of the people there were around my age(18) although there were some 20-30 some year olds. I talked to guy who helped run it and he said he got emails from 800 people asking about it. The room it was in had a capacity of 260 and it was packed. I could barely move it was so packed. Everyone clapped, and it was really loud in there(applause). RP seemed kind of tired,i think he'd been in three different states that day. But it was a great speech. I cant wait till the next time he's in DC.

As a young person, I think that we are realizing the magnitude of the burden that our parents are leaving to us. We are discovering that our inheritance will not be liberty, or safety, or wealth, or welfare. Our inheritance will be debt, totalitarian government and endless war. We are rejecting these overwhelming burdens while we still can.

Government interventionism vs non-interventionism, that is the core debate... left-right issues are in the past since today production is high enough for all.

And it all boils down to whether you want government by the people or not. The more Government interventionism there is, the more big Govt institutions there will be, and these organisations are dangerous self-promoting, self-empowering entities who control the people.

When will the people wake up?
