@aris97237445 that has been a custom skin i did use at that time, supporting multiple instances of VDJ to be used at the same time. VDJ nowadays officially supports up to 99 decks, so the place to look is the vvdj homepage. Go and support the program if you like it
Sounded a little disjointed at first, but very well done. Respect. What really convinced me to bother to log in and comment though was to give shouts to the old school keyboard @ 1:27
@ronmcmetal thx alot. for the record, i almost only use the sampler section, without beatlock or sync engaged. only good timed one shot and loop samples
Can u upload more video of u spinning on the Dj Tech:) Please lol
I'm thinking about getting the Korg Nanopad also:) How much u pick it up for? I seen it on ebay for about $50 buy now. Is this better than the Akai LPD8? Or this is better cause of that mouse thingy pad whatever u call it (lol) that's on it??? Thanks
@tranjohn hey, sorry i never came around answering. I picked the nanopad up for about 50$ too. I´d say the akai lpd8 is better by far. The x-y pad (mouse-thingy ) is´nt that great tbh, id rather have the knobs that the lpd8 offers
@jahoneil yes, of course i do. Just like everyone else who is using a official version and not a crack. Try the latest VDJ demo, the imix is natively supported
@greatmesk i just bought an Dj Tech imix Reload and still waiting on delivery:) So do u think i made a good choice on the Dj Tech? I ws deciding between the Dj Tech and the Vestax typhoon. Typhoon was $249 buy now on ebay and the Dj Tech i picked up for $230 buy now:) U think the Typhoon is better or bout the same? Should i use Virtual Dj as my software instead of using the ones that it came with? Thanks for ur videos really enjoy them and very helpful:)
@tranjohn sorry i never got the time to answer you. i am very glad i picked the imix at that time, i still use it and its still in very good working order. i hope you enjoy yours aswell. I once got my hands on a typhoon and didnt like it, so i think you made the right choice
@TomPor85 just open VDJ twice and activate multi instance under options in both instances and set them to your IP and select a port. The tricky part in my performance is routing all four decks into ableton and then out to the speakers through the BCD.
yes, i used VDJ as decks and used Ableton as effect unit. Basically Vdj goes into ableton, ableton goes into the bcd, the bcd into my vestax mixer, and the vestax back into my build in soundcard and my speakers, where i recorded it into audacity. Ableton gave me to much cpu load when using it as a recorder too.
There is sadly no possibility for you to vote. Ean Golden will be picking the winner by himself till 16th of may. But it surely isnt a bad idea to still give my some hits here
a bit out of sync at the beginning but not bad bro keep the good work

you do a really good job of getting it back in sync if it slips, thats where everyone looses their shit.

@minusthesandwich thanks mate, though i did have to try it a few times to get it that sick. my nanopad is kinda unresponsive lately
greatmesk 1 year ago
@greatmesk mine is the same has moments were no matter how hard i punch the pads they don't work the akai is much better just less pads.
