@doggydeeds The Merlin Engine was used by Britain during WWII in the Spitfire fighters. The reason why the swastika flags are on there is that British pilots would put one flag per enemy shot down. The flags on the car are a salute to the British pilots, not Nazis.

A fellow in the UK put a V12 27L Merlin engine into a Rover Vogue and it did 166+ mph barely reaching 2000 RPM. These sorts of engines have so much torque that they can ably pull along with almost no effort.

@bhpnbr4444 The paint scheme is Military. It a copy of the 352nd Fighter group, "The blue nosed bastards of Bodney". They flew P-51's and all had the nose painted blue from the cockpit to the propeller spinner. The Merlin was the engine in the P-51, so he is giving a nod to a great fighter group of WWII. P-51's were painted in a wide array of color schemes according the the unit with which they flew. There was no "classic" color. Some were not painted at all, just polished aluminum and numbers
