Not a very effective book trailer, I'm afraid. Way too long, lots of dead time. I kept wishing I could fast forward it. I gave up definitively at 1:49. I still don't know what the story is really about: what's the problem, what are the stakes, why do I care?
The wee bit of informal research I've done on book trailers indicates that more people decide not to buy a book because of the trailer than the other way around. Something to think about.
