Just bought he same swap for my 88 convertible after blowing two piece of shit triangle of death motors on turbo with 30 thousand miles on it blew as soon as I tried to make the slow shitbox faster I would prob be a better cement mixer then a powerplant but once these guys sink all there money in the rotary and there still in the shop at least they can still say they have a rotory like thats still cool
listen guys i went to Wyotech and had 4 rotary guys in my class all but one sounded just like ThoseOneWeirdKidds and bridgeportedrotary swore up and down how amazing they are whats funny is the kid that didn't preach about how great they were was the only one that owned one. he did an ls1 swap while were at school. i met one other kid there with a rotary and surprise surprise he had a 2jz he was building to go in it
@nastynate83 yea, I had to blow up two 13b turbos (my fault though) before I decided on a V8, about to put an LT1/T56 in my 87 RX7 turbo II. The rotaries are bad ass, but if anything goes wrong, your pretty much fucked, too easy to blow, non turbo though, they are awesome.
lol yeh unique is not the proper word for it. I sold my rb20 s13 for a fc vert so i can learn about rotary and what i learn is that they suck balls. i think that chassis deserves something called torque ( something that the rx7 has never seen before)
@aji8 I totally agree with this, I have tried to convince many rotards that a V8 RX-7 is in fact much more unique than a rotary one. It's a beastly combination that is not nearly as common as either a V8 Camaro, or a rotary RX-7, therefore more unique.

I agree, before the swaps, the Rx7 would break down more than any other car due to the powerplant. That is not a uniqueness that I would want.
