There are maybe 3 or 4 songs out of everything they've done in the last decade that are just average/nothing special. His voice, the band's writing and overall package is the best it has ever been. This song is phenomenal. As they mature, their music will mature. We, the listeners, mature with it. I hope they continue this direction....and this commentary is coming from a 12 year GJ fan.

This new record will be amazing BECAUSE OF THE FACT that each song has a life of its' own. Daryl takes character differently in each. It's almost like a play. His voice has never sounded better. Also, the music compliments his vocals so much better this time around. I love the way every song is mixed differently to take on new life, Instead of the whole record sounding the same.

@alphaguitar2 Well they probably play it faster live because it's pretty much based off how fast the drummer plays it. If the energy levels are high which they tend to be at live shows, then the drummer will play it faster. The other instruments will follow Durijah's lead. As far as lyrics, I bet there are about 500 different lyric versions for every Glassjaw song. At least Daryl will change things up instead of being a typical vocalist.

Its cool if he wants to change it up but the studio recording is the one we're going to be listening to the most over the years so it just would've been cool for him to stick with the lyrics that they started it with cause I like them and they can change whatever they want at live shows but meh, its not my song.
