@lissheim Yes, its true you can go without applying! I was there in 2008 and still think back on the great time! Did you check the Inti Wara Yassi site?

@beckster198011 Yeah I've checked out the website, they do say you can just come, so I guess I just will. :) I'm looking at flights right now, trying to figure out how to get there from little Sweden fairly cheaply on my own. Quite tricky. I'd prefer to go with KLM since they're great, but they don't go all the way. What airlines did you fly with?

@lissheim Lucky you :) You must be very excited! I was flying Zürich-Frankfurt-Lima with Lufthansa and went by bus over to Bolivia via Santa Cruz-Sao Paolo-Frankfurt.. I think aerosur fly direct Madrid-Santa Cruz but at the time that was not so cheap.. If I d fly again i d check on ebookers..

@beckster198011 It's exciting alright. ;) I probably won't be able to go until spring, but I'll get there. I'll stay about two months, maybe longer if the jungle is good to me. :P

I've heard so many good things about KLM I think I'll fly with them, at least to Lima. Did you get a bus ticket in Lima or order in advance? How much was it?

@lissheim when i was there my intention was to see everything by bus, i was with a peruvian friend and the trip was great to peru and bolivia. however, if your goal is to get to ciwy, i would fly from lima to cochabamba or santa cruz, i think the tickets are cheap. aero sur is a bolivian carrier, the bus on the other hand will take you days.

@beckster198011 Yeah I'll probably fly to Santa Cruz. No idea how much the bus is to the park though, I'm a little wary about getting a ticket there, I could end up with a horrible bus company... Anyway, about the park, was it hard to get used to the living conditions, like sleeping, showering and so on? Hey, if you want, we could chat sometime about the park (unless you're getting fed up with it already). :P ;) Do you have skype or yahoo?

@lissheim from santa cruz to ambue ari there is only 1 bus as far as i know and the ticket is not a problem to buy in the bus. The living conditions.. well for me it was not to tough to get used to it, but i guess it depends what you are used to and how much the animals can outweigh that :) sure, my skype id is michaelkbeck, of course i m not fed up, i enjoy talking about the park

Talia attacked me and bit me 3 times in my leg while i was there in 2006. Still i was sad when i had to go back home after i fell down in the jungle and hurt my knee pretty bad... :(

I only worked with them for 2-3 weeks. I spent my summer at Machia and returned to Ambue Ari after a year a the end of my stint for a few weeks. I assume you know Sarah, Keith, Laura, Matt, maybe Tim, and a few more of my friends.
