Assembly, a very low-level type of programming language. It is as close as you get to directly telling a processor what to do. Basically this means that the authors of VIP3 had to spend a lot more time on the project because assembly is hard to do without completely breaking everything. It does not forgive.

The rest of the level names I'm pretty much just as clueless about. I don't know if Oyster translated the storage house names, but they're all prefixed by different words and none of them seem to be real words.

I've been watching your old VIP 3 videos again recently and you can sort of tell how burned out you were at that point.

There are a lot of levels I found fun that required a bit of thinking out but you didn't have the patience because of smi2 and hacks of similar ilk at the time.

Depends what you mean by 'screamer' I suppose. IN vip4, after the forest world it's the ice world, which is pretty nifty and picks up a lot in difficulty, but it's not THAT bad.

If you want a horrible level, you want the stage after world 6, with the homing micro-banzai bill or whatever. Ugh. Not looking foward to that.

He means something totally unexpected thrown in to scare you. Generally, there's a silent video or something at low volume, and then you suddenly hear a scream once you're used to the low sound. Hence "screamer".

And to userofdoom, I don't know why you would ask about a future surprise, since you know Raocow tries to avoid spoilers.

No screamer, I believe the thing your talking about is a creepy pair of eyes that appear in the background of the last forest level before the castle. Nothing scary, it just quickly appears before the level fades out.

after beating a forest level (not the last, actually) just after boon making the final pose, a message box appears (with JAPANESE) and just after the message box closing some VERY CREEPY BIG EYES appears on the middle of the screen. just the eyes, without any scream, but is fucking creepy.
