Having not watched the Golden Globes and having only heard about the 'up roar' following his act(which was fucking fantastic) after listening to his podcast, I am appalled that people would even consider asking him for an apology. It infuriates me that he had to defend himself for making jokes at the expense of others he's a comedian for christ's sake. Furthermore, he did/has done a brilliant job as a host for the golden globes. I wish he had been more unapologetic in his response to the media

Fantastic. I love Ricky. And what I love more is his confidence! I know thats a stupid thing to say, but a lot of people would be starstruck and suck up to them. He's always done this faux arrogant act which he pulls off really well. He stuck to his guns! You can cut the atmosphere in there with a knife. I think the celebs feel untouchable.
