it was, just traded it in for a stang gt a few weeks ago. oh and when you get your superduke, make sure you get a battery tender. I rarely ride mine and now the battery is shot from sitting around, and $200 to replace. other than that its a awesome bike.
Don't know if you've found out the hard way or not, but a weak battery on a SD is probably a result of a fried voltage regulator. Tell me, do you go through a lot of headlamp bulbs?
@cal04450 oh and good luck with the RX8, mine had 82k and was getting ready to take a big shit. not very reliable in my experience, definitely a fun car though.
Thanks for your response. 1 more question for you... did you have to have a new map loaded or the ecu re-tuned with those. I am guessing they are just slip-ons (only replacing the factory cat and mufflers). Just curious, as I am getting ready to order these for my SD.
No re-map or computer adjustments so far. Runs fine with the exception of dying when the bike is revved to about 9k and then let completely off the throttle. I think that is more of a lack of back-pressure thing rather than computer tuning (i did not install the baffles with the new pipes), but I may be wrong. And yes, it is just a cat-back system and it shaved an incredible amount of weight, close to 20 lbs.
Ok, that's the best looking set of pipes I've ever seen for the Suoerduke. I'm the biggest fan of the round Akras (wich I own) but I would definitly have a go at those awesome FMF. Congrats!

Those are sexy, the design definitely fits the angular nature of the Super Duke!!
Do the stock heat shields still fit over those?

Stock heat shields do not fit, however I have not heard any complaints from my passenger about her ass getting burnt by the pipes.
