yeh he was a one off,a great rocknroll guitarist up there with the best of them.."rumble" is pretty easy to play but to get that evil,sinister,moody vibe aint..link was a true originator.

"fantastic guitarist" I meant to say. None of his stuff is too difficult to play, but he came up with the style before anyone else. His tunes sound great live with a small band too.

yeh his stuff does work live."jack the ripper" is a cool track too..thats whats cool about link ,simple great tunes..sometimes less is more

thanks Ajaxeddiefan,yeh its just me and my budddy rick on "rumble"..playing thru a line6 with echo and a little bit of fuzztone.

the guitar is an customized aria pro 2 with p90s made in the early 1980s..im on guitar and ricks on drums and bass which he added later..always loved "Rumble" so i hope we did an ok version..hope to be uploading some new numbers soon, so pop bye soon..keep on rockin

thanks,we tried to get the dark feel of the original.

i played through a line6 amp with plenty of slap back..and Ricks drumming (which he added later)really added to the vibe.

we were pretty pleased with it as it was only a jam recording.
