I actually enjoyed this game, and it was one of the few decent Simpsons games that were made, even if that's not really saying much, with how awful most of them were. It's too bad that the arcade game (which was by far the best Simpsons videogame ever) never got ported (except for the two PC ports of it), though I thankfully have the PCB to it. to use in my Jamma cabinet.

You're good at making this game look worse than it really is. I beat this game when I was 7 years old. Good job reviewing this game from an emulator which slows down dramatically on your last life. Everything reacts just fine, there's no "lag" in the real game, you DON'T start from the beginning every time you die...but rather from a checkpoint. And most importantly, you suck. I beat this game without dying several times. Check out "OldSchoolGamer82" account for his review on this.

Dude, this game is beatable, and easy as eating a cake.

If you can't beat the first level of this game, then you (1) just suck at it (2) have a corrupt ROM.

I have it on original Game Boy, it's beatable, entertaining, and VERY EASY. The game just keeps on getting better, and better on later levels. My rating:

Fun Factor: 4/5

Overall: 13/20

This is a pretty decent game, so if you're looking for a good Simpsons game on Game Boy, then you can buy it.

There are some checkpoints along the way. For example on level 2, when you finish tofu burgers part and get to brocolli, if you die somewhere in the brocolli part, you start at the beginning of brocolli part, but you don't go back to tofu burgers.

So don't say that you go back to the beginning when you die because it's not always happening wtf man

I have finished this too. It's very annoying and also dull. The ending is extremely disappointing.

However, nothing beats Bart vs. The Juggernauts in annoyingness. The must frustrating game I ever played, and never finished it. If anyone did and could tell what happens at the end I would be grateful lol.

I remember this game, it took me a couple years to get past a couple levels, and yes there are checkpoints. They are just VERY FAR apart so it is still incredibly frustrating to play. I'll stick to Barts Nightmare on the SNES for the godzilla references.
