I remember hearing these guys perform these routines when they were DJ's on their radio show in California. The early day version of Joh Boy and Billy. These guys had a great show. Thanks for posting these it brings back memories.

Thanks for posting. H&L sketches were just OK, not great, and this one seems to evoke a kind of Archie and Edith Bunker dynamic. But nevertheless, the ending has a real humane, warm quality. Nice.

I have been looking for this for years as well. I use to listen to this while getting ready for school in the late '70's. KAKE radio in Wichita, KS use to play it every morning during the Christmas season. Thank you for bringing back a wonderful memory.
