Oh so it's 2012 now is it? In my 45 years I keep being told how dates, 2000, 1984, and so on - made up through human minds, are going to be significant in the big scheme of things - the end/beginning of the world, etc. And yet... Unconditional love? You expect NOTHING in return? hmmm... I believe in love but don't really accept the numerology issue being mixed up in it.

What is the significance of 2012?

Not totally sure but I think it's a reference to some prophecies that there's going to be a big change happening in the world by 2012 (there's a book about it by Daniel Pinchbeck - can't remember what it's called, "Return of..."). It's also the year in Kyoto accord for countries to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Those are my guesses... may be way off!
