A common rail means that the injectors are hooked to one "common rail", instead of having individual lines going to each injector.

@DS650POWER U could do this without nitrous too as again as twinturbo said the turbos was already spooled = the fuel was mixed with air and that means less smoke

@fsbulldogz Nothing against Idaho rob because he is really fast, but he is also in a single cab short bed. That cummins is a full size pick up running on bigger tires as well.

@bigbaddodge9088 No that truck is not a short bed, it is a standard cab long bed same as the Source truck. But it does weigh 6,021lbs, weighed it myself last year when it set the record in NHRDA SS last year in Spokane.

Yup, you can see when he hits the nitro just off the line. It gave it enough oxygen to burn most of the fuel mixture and therefore reduced the smoke to almost none. It almost scares me to think about how much pressure that head is holding down.. O_O

he was going too fast to see the smoke!! lol. he should have kept the tail gate on. most people think it creates drag, but it actually creates a vortex of air inside the bed to keep the air rushing over the top of the cab instead of creating turbulence inside the bed which creates drag.
