what he wants to say but probably isn't allowed is Rage will be better on 360 because we can't be arsed to invest in the ps3..shame for ps3 owners that they continually get shafted on multiplatform titles..if a relatively small developer like Platinum Games can take the "risk" of leading development on the ps3 then why can't these super genius companies? Its beneficial for all..just look at Vanquish..brilliant on both consoles

why wouldn't John Carmack say it. It's well known about John's deep past ties with Activision. and we all know who well Activision and Sony get along. And besides, he helps to make shooters, why wouldn't he love the 360.

Most third party games perform better on the Xbox 360 because it is easier to develop for as John Carmack and many other devs have said. Porting to the PS3 is a poor decision and leaves us with a bad port, as well as porting a PS3 game straight to Xbox 360 would be a bad decision as well. Porting between PC and 360 generally works well, while PC to PS3 doesn't. PS3 is mega powerful, but difficult to program for.

He probably prefers the 360 because it's much easier to develop for. The PS3 is much harder to develop for but the overall qualitiy of the game can be much higher cuz of the Cell Processor. It's State-of-the-Art and developers have yet to tap it's full potential.
