Very weird........he is totally self-absorbed, sort of an 'empty suit'. He certainly comes off as superficial; not surprising; it's true for most entertainers. Not being critical, he's lived a great life, but it's certainly different. Most of us have to balance being somewhat self-absorbed with the day-to-day experiences that are necessary and important for work and family. But this, is definitely different.

This is such a great video - wonderful to see a human being who is so happy with life and lives it to the full - his laugh is so joyous and he just can't stop dancing! Love it. Seeing him fly a helicopter - how fucking cool is that? Are there no ends to this man's talents, seriously?? DLR, you rule the world!

As far as to "what happened to him?"... it's called age folks, I think Dave is 58 or 59 now. I can only hope I have that kind of energy if and when I get there myself.
