    Voldemort? xD lol.

  • I loved the part when Hugo took the croissant and then the pigeons started chasing him. He completely ruins the mood at 2:43 through 2:47. But it is so hilarious!

  • LOL, I just LOVE the beginning with Paris being on fire. XD I laugh every time.

  • How did I forget about this movie?!? I used to love this movie. What happened to the good old days of animation and music that was nice and went with the movie sung BY the characters.

    :3

    Thank you for posting these...

  • 2:53 - Hugo dressed like Esmeralda? Now I've seen everything... o_0

Best song in The Hunchback Of Notre Dame! =D

  • After this song, I blamed the gargoyles for Quasimodo's broken heart, because they got his hopes so high.

I still love the song though : )

  • BLAM!

my friend thinks this is kinda a Big Lipped Alligator Moment.

    what do you think?

she thought it just came out of nowhere, was very upbeat despite the dark and sad plot currently going, and then afterward it was just, poof, over and they went back to the story.

  • @ccrstarpanda I always thought it fit in very well and was a nice change from the attempted murder of an innocent family. It also turns out to be a kind of sad moment anyway because in the next scene Esmeralda brings Phoebus in and Quasi sees that she doesn't love him after all. Disney can't get too depressing you know, and this is a fun moment. It doesn't interrupt the flow of the movie, so it's def not a BLA moment.

  • the city of lovers is glowing this evening

true that's because its on fire lol

  • aw! i love quasimodo!

  • 2:28 When my brother and I were little, we got confused to what a croissant was called because of this song, lol... my brother thought it was a 'croissantage' because he misheard the next line Hugo sings, and I thought it was called a 'toochew' because Victor holds it up right when he sings 'we crave a meal more nourishing TO CHEW". xD

  • @CHAWCLATE me too! the "croissant" part, i always thought he was saying "croissanez" or something. i only recently figured it out. embarassing cuz i'm so much older now :P

  • Fave song from this movie. Alan mankin is a genuiouse! I can't spell :)

  • A shard of glass hits quasimodo at 2:14!!!!!!!!

  • call me crazy but im a sucker for the classic little white castle that used to be in front of the disney movies i mean the new ones nice but classic is classic

  • It kinda stinks that a few minutes after this musical number he finds out Esmeralda is in love with the captain... Ah, well, it all works out in the end...

  • A guy like you gets extra credit! Because it's true you have... uh... certain something mooore!! :D

  • Thank you, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz for giving the gargoyles a chance to sing. And, as for you, nice video.

  • true that's because its on fire xD

  • Seriously, who wouldn't love a guy like Quasi?

  • @Schnoppys Someone very shallow, that's who. And anyone like that doesn't even deserve him.

  • @animeotaku307 I don't find Esmerelda shallow it's kinda understanding I mean pheobus saved the people in the house then got shot with an arrow its quite well obvious that she would save him. Then with the word shallow that basically means she only thinks about herself. Heres a few examples how she did not. God Help The Outcasts, when Quasy fell in her tent she helped him and didnt cringe at his face, and she helped pheobus when she could have easily left him to die.

  • @animeotaku307 also I just wanted to put in my own point I meant no offense if any is taken ^-^

  • @simbalolo I never said Esmerelda was shallow; even if she doesn't love Quasimodo in a romantic way, she still treats him as a human being which is important.

I take no offense; just simply clearing up what I was saying. Anyone who judges solely on appearance doesn't deserve any possible friendship or love from those they look down upon,

  • @animeotaku307 lol ok =) I just read your comment and I saw shallow. I was sitting there kinda like wait are you talking about Esmerelda or people in general. =) Also thank you so much for being such a good person I say stuff like this meaning no offense and people just go crazy you know.

  • @simbalolo Understandable.

  • Hey, that's AWESOME!!!!

  • It's strange really, because I know it can be taken as Quasi being a bit bad on the head and imagines the gargoyles talking since he's lonely, and the end of this song kinda supports that wich gives me quite a bad feeling inside :( but then...the gargoyles help fight the soldiers later, so they might really be magical, of course it could also be Disney's way of separating the movie between for adults and for kids.

...I stick with the magic gargoyles otherwise I cry.

    Best movie.

  • oh, they're definitely magical. The part with the goat proves it! :D

  • My favorite character is Hugo XD

  • Hugo was dressed like Esmeralda at 2:55.

  • Does anyone think that it's sort of ironic that right after this song is over, Esme comes in with Phebous?

  • @Vampryss42 yup, a knight in shining armor that certainly 'isn't her type'

  • aw, i'd LOVE a guy like Quasi! He's so sweet and caring!

  • I know any girl would be lucky to have him.

  • these stones r very kind!!! im full of tears...!!!

  • This song is so sad considering that he doesn't end up with her. : /

  • This song is catchy. Whoever was CEO of Disney during the 90s was a genius if he made this film to entertain both the kiddies and the the adults.

  • my favorite scene

i thought i was the cute one

no you're the fat stupid one with the big mouth!

    What are u saying exactly

  • Is it just me, or does this song, at times, have a sound sort of like Hellfire? I know that probably sounds really strange, but there are, like, two lines where it really reminds me of Hellfire. Like when Victor (I think that's the non-fat one, right?) says "Any moment she'll walk through that door" it sounds sort of like Frollo: "You will be mine or you will burn"

    Hmm....reusing some of their music...lol

but the two are clearly very different.its weird that theyre even in the same movie.

  • Yeah, it's because they use the same thing constantly with a new sound. Like in Hellfire it's all dark and evil, and in Bells of Notre Dame reprise it's happy and overjoyed and such.

  • "No! You're the fat stupid one with the big mouth!" LOL! I LOVE that!

  • this is very catchy

  • best viewed in HQ?! COOL! too bad they dont give you that option though XDDD nice job takeing your time adding the lyrics though!

  • You can see it on HQ by adding &fmt=18 at the end of the link

  • oh yea...i forgot about that XDD

  • @AlexValve tried that, doesn't work

  • Hello Everyone!!! Welcome to the newest video, A Guy Like You! now i would like to say, Please watch this video in HQ, by adding &fmt=18 at the end of the URL, so you can read a whole lot better the lyrics, since in Standard quality some of the lyrics are impossible to be seen! But in other things, I hope you guys enjoy this video, that talks about the Gargoyles telling Quasimodo that he's one of a kind! Anyways, please comment, rate, and watch in HQ for better performance and sound!!
