I'll probably get rated down for saying this, but I actually think this is a pretty poor intro, especially compared to the far superior intro to Atelier iris: Eternal Mana.
But if you want to see some REALLY good anime intros to videogames, check out the intro to the Persona or Tales of series.
@dobadobadooo Agree with you, BUT there's a reason why this intro is so poor. Mana Khemia 1 is based on school-type gaming. They don't really have much places to show in the intro without putting too much of a spoiler. Tales of series since phantasia to Graces have the same plot. Saving the world. So they got plenty of things to put in the intro. Same goes to Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana. The world is FREAKING huge.
i have this game and I must say I really like it! I like all the games done by this group. Atlier iris, ar tonelico, and mana khemia. I think this is my fav op.
Roxis Rosenkrantz, the ultimate terminator in the game. (obscene combo ability, unparalleled support, ridiculous timecard abuse, massive damage potential) The guy could probably shit bricks and still come out busting ass and kicking balls.
yeah i have the game already, i like it a lot, also from seeing AI vids it seems as if mana kheima is almost the same gameplay except it has better graphics :P
and still, that doesnt answer if the series is based on anime :S
i was wondering, in the intro it seems as if some parts are taken from an anime, is this game based on an anime and if it does whats the anime's name?
No it is not. There was no anime when they released the first Atelier game. But since Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana, all Atelier games have anime intros. Just search youtube to see.
Actually, that's incorrect. There are some differences, but their barely noticable. In the begining, after seeing Vayne's face, it zooms out to the school, and you can see his figure out there, while in the american version, he's not there. Also, when the cat girl hugs Vayne, it show's his reaction for a little longer. The ending zooms out to the school again, while the american version ends with them all standing in a circle. And finally, the timing of the whole thing is slightly different.
why the hell is this game so rare -_-

which is better atlier iris, ar tonelico or mana khemia??

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Atelier Iris for substance, Ar Tonelico for comedic value... Seriously... And Mana Khemia is more like a downgraded AI.
