YOU got it....!.......great to see it and hear it from anothr person....!.....That is it THE LENNON PINKY MOVEMENT ....I have been doing that for decades.....not many people know how great a guitar man JOHN LENNON was.....and STILL is....!..... It is good to know other people have figured out these things...Joe a.k.a.Hollywood Joe
So close. At the 7 second mark you need to go from the barre G up to the barre C then drop 2 frets to Bflat one strum then back to F. Listen to it on the cd and you can hear John sliding up to the C and then da da da da blam blam....the blam blam being C then B flat. Most of the others on here are just playing a single note scale and that aint right. You pretty much have it. Move your stereo balance to the left and listen without the vocals and its pretty clear what he is doing.
@Hebdula What's that "Beatles chord" on 0:24-0:25? (repeats a few more times in the song on that part.) Please give the notes it consists of, I can figure it out from there. Thx.
serious comment: You are really great in taste man !! I apreciate you so much - you cant imagine - So I invite you to coop with me - contact me plz !! Oldvi
Very well done, this songs is suprisingly difficult to play and you did it very well. You might be interested in the version I recently posted on Youtube.
Nice playing..Whew! This is a torturous song to play....All pinky rhythms.... and lucky for John it was on this short scale guitar..imagine if he had to play the F position on a regular scale neck....oh the pain...lol
@ZAPDUNGAA yes it is a joy to play it on the short neck. However, I think the Beatles recorded the song in E first and then sped it up to F. And it is easier to play in E.
ok tried to play along, but i have a full scale guitar. and i got to 1:36 a i just had to stop.

@Hebdula Interesting! I always wondered how they pulled songs like this off live. Do you know if this song was ever performed live?

@Hebdula Alors je comprends enfin pourquoi c'est si difficile de la jouer avec un diapason Fender (Gibson, ça passe encore)...
