How did Airbus sell these planes to airlines? It was all about the efficiency and the ability of this aircraft to carry hundreds of people from point A to point B using as little fuel as possible. Sure, it might have a slightly more comfortable interior if the airlines try, but the real reason the airlines bought this huge aircraft comes down to the operating costs of this aircraft.
I know this s from 2007 but this shit would have been ugly to me back then cause this looks like designs from 2001. They made use of the space well by giving passengers the most space, however, they didnt take advantage of technology of the time to give a more futuristic look. They also need new livery

Can't say I like the colour scheme in economy but I know the seats are wider and have greater pitch than Boeings. Business class and the Suites are just luxury. Airbus are quieter and generally more comfortable than Boeings in my experience. I feel sorry for the American public, most of whom get a shitty deal with air travel.
It seems good but only a few have the ability to pay for this lux-travel. So if you have the money you youhave the facilities.....it is not so good :(

I flew four to five times a year and in those days children in First Class could go to cockpit and visit the crew. I remember flying and the cabin door which was kept open until the Cuban Hijackings starting in 1960.

I dunno, maybe it was the excitement of being on a plane but I liked the fact that it all ( I mean ALL OF IT) tasted very different to the way its sea level counterparts did. It just kind of put the button on it for me, y'know - 'You're on a plane ... and this is what the food tastes like here, how the toilet works, how things sound ...'

I've flown with a lot of airlines and I remember singapore airlines being the best. Thai airways 2nd best. KLM 3rd best. (out of just the ones I've flown with)

The Boeing 777 is far more luxurious. The interiors of the A380 are all yuk. Colour schemes on Qantas r foul and by the looks so is Singapore's.

if you're going for luxury some of the personal business jets top the 777 by far.
An Airbus A380 with a full tank and seating configuration of 552 based on a three class mix, will out perform 2 Boeing 777-300ER's based on a seating capacity of 278 for three classes.
It will fly 16% faster, and use 15% less fuel to get to the same destination based on it's max range of 8,000 nautical miles, for both models.

Why would someone buy a plane that big!? A big waste of money in my opinion. Fuel consumption must be over the roof, and there are only a few select airfields that the A380 can use. Very inefficient. But on the sole basis of how big it is, it is quite impressive "thats if you don't care about anything else"

Airbus deals with big planes and luxury which means more money, but they use alot of fuel. boeing deals with aerodynamics and speed which makes faster travel, and they use less fuel! so both plane producing companies are balanced in ideas and ways, so there is no "airbus is the best" or "boeing is more greater" that are in arguements! if you think that one of these companies is bad on something, then study and become a engineer to fix it! dont just sit and make fun of a company!

i recently travelled to vietnam via singpore and back to singapore then australia, i must say that it is my opinon that singapore airlines is 1 of the best in the world and i look forward to travelling with them again, the food is great the staff are patient and genuinely kind.
